      Due to a previous stalker I wanted my private information as hidden as possible. I have suppressed it on almost every other site, but this one pretends to give you the option and does not. I filled out the "suppression" form and thought it said the action would be taken by a few days, its still there. Extremely shady busy. All the other websites let a person have all their private information unlisted by simple form and/or request, but not this one. I will be contacting my attorney to see what further action can be taken as this site is endangering my life with its underhanded practices.

      I received an alert that my email had been compromised on the dark web. Also some other sensitive information had been compromised with this company. I have no idea what this is for. How can they get away with selling your information on the dark web? I never signed up for any of their services so why is my information even on their site to be put on the dark web?

      I just signed up for this service and have ran 3 searches on people, including my own. I find that most of the information provided is stuff that I don't care about. I don't want a list of all of the *** offenders in town, which is half of the report. There is very little helpful information, and I have also found numerous inaccuracies in each of the searches that I have done. I know this because I do have some information on each of the persons I have searched. I'm very disappointed. I will not be a long term customer.

      I want to gather hisorical information on an individual I know very well. The dates of residence are completely off, even showing where they lived 10 years after their death. I agree with other reviews, stating a preview would be nice before commitment. So very tired of getting scammed. I will be canceling immediately.

      I would prefer no stars. This company is a total scam. If you are looking for records on someone, they don't even have basic personal information on the person (such as marriage or children/close relatives). Since they have a pay wall for their reports, you don't know the information you're looking for isn't there. Good luck canceling. Website always stops working when you try to cancel and customer service doesn't exist.

      Complete garbage I wanted to look up something on myself and when I put in my info and found my self it said I was some big shot at a company and a professional football player and graduated school at 13 and it did have the places where I lived but the tiny bit of info that I paid money for that it said it had wasnt on there so complete waste of money just go buy you some ********* or something with the 30 dollars your going to spend on this garbage

      I just received from life lock an alert saying that personal information like passwords are in the dark web. the information that is in the dark web is related/due to instantcheckmate.com company.This company, instantcheckmate.com, is the one that offers to send you alerts, saying if your personal information is in the dark web.So, it does not make any sense to have a company to check the dark web, when in the dark web is my personal information like passwords thanks to the mis-handlling of the information by instantcheckmate.com. instantcheckmate is a bad company, and that is the reason of the bad reviews. 2 15 2023 also, I sent an email to them, asking them to delete any information that they have about me, in their company, and I received immediately an email back, saying that they answer the emails within 10 days!!!! ridicules delays! also they do not have 24 hours customer service. also they have only customer service in the ** side time.

      This search site is absolutely terrible!! I have looked up my background many times in the past with no problems. My info came up, but Instant Checkmate came back with absolutely no information except for a couple of social media profiles I have had. No arrest records no employment history no housing history everything said there was no information to be found. I work for state agency where you can literally put my name in and see exactly how much I make every single year you're going to tell me you couldn't find my employment history? I have a misdemeanor on my record according to them I have no record. I tried to call them and tell him how unhappy I was and their customer service was terrible. He was just telling me it's not their fault and no refund will be issued. I've used three other background search sites in the last 10 years and EVERY ONE had the info I wanted. This had NONE! Then I checked my wife and my father's results (came with the month subscription) to see what information they had on them and NOTHING, so it wasn't just me and my info. Both my father and wife have very public information out there that is EASILY accessible...but not Instant Check Mate. I'm telling you you will be sorry if you do search results through them, and you will not get your money back after feeling like you were just robbed and scammed.
