Scam website that claims to be free, intentionally wastes ***** minutes of your time with fake loading bars and then bait and tries to sign you up for a MONTHLY charge for the rest of eternity. This is a trap designed to prey on the elderly and naive, the people who run and created this site are the lowest of the low.

Giving any stars is ridiculous. Complete scam. Started to get the date of my divorce, and the site said it was free. That day a $1.00 charge hit my credit card. Two days later they charged $19.95. I was willing to let the $1.00 charge go, unwilling to put the time in for $1.00. I did contact them when $19.95 hit my account. After many back and forth emails and finally giving them more information than I thought they needed, another $19.95 hit my credit card. My bank blocked them at that point, but be aware I never signed up for an account with them at all, in fact I never even opened the report, having found the information another way. I never got a credit after giving them the information they requested. I never got an account number and they agreed they couldnt find one. This didnt stop them from charging on multiple occasions. This is an extremely shady company. Steer clear.Instant Checkmate

Today 11/11/2022 Instant Checkmate just tried billing my card again. I have had email contact with 4 different people, one possibly twice. They keep asking for the same or additional information regarding additional emails and pay pal accounts which has no impact on the initial contact. Just be advised this is the shadiest outfit I have ever had this misfortune to deal with. Also proved nothing is free.Review fromTina M

Seriously underwhelming. Not a scam company but definitely kinda misleading. Makes it seem like youll get all this information on someone or yourself, and then all the information is missing. I have a criminal background but none could be found. I just feel that the site could be promising but I feel kinda cheated and I do not recommend due to lacking critical information on basically everyone.Instant Checkmate

I specifically signed up for this to find my military service dates. The InstantCheckmate website list ********************* Records as the main listing on the homepage. After paying for the service I received my report which shows absolutely ZERO military records. I called the company and was told military records are not retrievable by them. When asked why its the first thing on their website I was told that is not true and I should log in to their home page to see. I was already on their homepage but could not convince the gentleman I was talking to that it says that. He kept telling me I was wrong. I asked if he received my payment and was told yes. I informed him I paid through this website so I believe they are falsely advertising a service they knowingly can not provide. He did say he would give me my money back in 3 days which I appreciate but I believe they are misleading people by advertising things they knowingly do not have access to. I guess this is my way to complain which will make no difference in the long run but if people dont complain other people will never know and not receive what hey are truly paying for.Instant Checkmate

This company listed a man who is a *** offender at my address who doesn't reside here! My whole family is in danger and they don't care. First they said they'd help, then said they'd remove it, then said can't do anything call the police. Well I HAD called the police WELL before even contacting these liars. I immediately canceled my account the very next day because the one report I researched showed no info. Just a name. I had to file a complaint because I could not log into account after making 2 payments. $27.08 and $4.99. Instant Checkmate finally let me log in and cancel account, then blocked me again. So they took my money, charged my account 4 days later, no longer allow access to account even though I paid for one month. Shameful ethics and sales practice.Instant Checkmate
