The experience with this company has been stressful and overwhelming, and I'm very unhappy with their services. In the beginning, when I called them they were nice, and months later, the customer service became so rude. This is like the worst nightmare I've ever had before. I haven't seen my contract since the day after I signed up. They started charging me for no reason, they started with $49.00 per month and after a couple of months, they increased the money up to $75.00 dollars per month. Not only that but every time that device got calibrated the amount of money for "violations" according to their fees will increase dramatically, such as: From drinking juice and putting some perfume on your body just to start your day ( that's a violation too). From getting 5 minutes late at some appointments and a fee for no show up to not letting the customer know at what time they have to be in their shop. $25.00/ $99.00 / $44.78/ $99.00/ $44.78, is all the money they are expecting me to pay. They are refusing to give me a copy of my contract. I knew that I don't need to have that device installed on my car since the last September of last year, but they made me have it on my car until now, I'm a full-time student and I have 3 jobs to support myself. I have no family in this country. The fact that at some point I received a DUI did not put a label on my face to describe me as a bad person, I say this because everyone in this life makes mistakes. I am trying to build a future and have a career in another country. But the fact that this is happening to other people is causing not only financial damage but emotional damage as well as is doing it to me. If is necessary I'll be taking legal action for it, because what is happening to me is very unfair.Business Response

These guys are straight up crooks. I was charged $1600 for a handset that wasn't broken. It had a hairline crack around the collar that didn't affect how it worked, and I had used it to get there that day. I took such good care of it, it still had the plastic protective covering over the screen after 11 months. I asked them for the handset that I replaced and they refused. Now I've paid for something theyve told me they can't use but they won't give to me either. Upon removal I was billed more than double the removal fee without explanation and nobody mentioning that it would be more than the contract stated before they ran my card, and I was in there for an hour.Business Response

I had used them for my interlock service. 1st calibration they charged me for $1650 for a 2cm hairline crack on the lip. I was furious but paid $828 to fix the debt and get my car back. Left a review on google and received a call regarding the review and they had offered me free removal and release from the contract so we can go our seperate ways. I scheduled the appointment and called them on my way to have the supervisor call me. I got to the office and they took my car for the removal. During them removing it the supervisor called me and said i owed them $992 for the remainder of the contract and removal. Told them what i was offered and she said there were no notes! I told them that i did not go in with money as they told me i would not owe another dollar! They told me to leave and kept my car and had my son, my pregnant wife and myself walk away. They had no remorse and have offered absolutely no reimbursement. I have lost my vehicle, will owe towing costs and them the remainder of the amount.Business Response

I don’t even know where to begin. This business is the most corrupt & fraudulent business I’ve ever come across with. I agreed to a “free installation” and 50 monthly fee for the device, thought it was too good to be true. It was. This company will charge your account, and not send you an invoice or answer their line to tell you what/where the charge is coming from. They will charge a card you specified to only be used as a one time payment, I’ve had this thing installed for a year and have easily in total charged 5,000 maybe more for fees im not even made aware of. I had it removed last week, and found a credit card that wasn’t supposed to be charged 1,665 for a removal. I’m sure they say there was damage, but there was not, the device worked perfectly fine, my mom even recorded us talking to the mechanic saying he did not see or recognize anything wrong with the device. Because we’ve been through this once before. they also have you pay an additional 10-15 a month for insurance and you’re not made aware of that or seeing it make any deductions or help. The device has had issues in weather and malfunctions constantly that cause wrong breathylzer scores, won’t let you start your car, etc etc. I’ve been stranded countless times, made unaware of charges & not knowing what they’re for. I’ve been lied to by this company. You can’t get ahold of them and when you do ask for a contract they say they’ll send and never do or hang up on you the second you have any questions or concerns. They made 5 different transactions all in the same day on my card of “400” 314” “415” until my bank account was completely emptied out. They just kept repeteadly charging it until I was empty which amounted to about 2,000 plus a 400 fee for rescheduling a removal appointment. This was after they got denied from a dispute. They are predatory & prey on people already in bad situations.Business Response

This is by far the worst company I’ve ever done business with. They think they can do whatever they want, and treat their customers however they want because you’re a criminal, or you wouldn’t need an interlock device. They lied about the pricing I was originally quoted. They lied about having a calibration office closer to my home, so I needed to drive over an hour to Sandy every three months. At the last 3 months of my contract, they randomly started charging my credit card for ridiculous amounts, and multiple transactions back to back. Even my credit card company thought it was strange, and blocked the charges. In total they tried to charge over $1,200 without my permission, and without an explanation, and of course they don’t answer the phone when you call. DO NOT DO BUSINESS HERE. There is a special place in hell for people that take advantage of people that are already going through a tough time in their life.Business Response

My fianc and I took vehicle in for its monthly calibration. While at the appointment, we were told that our unit was cracked and broken and had to be replaced, and that it would cost $1700. But $1300 if paid in full today. The unit was not cracked at all and was in perfect working order. They would not proceed unless we paid the money. So we reluctantly paid and when the car was finished, IT WAS THE SAME UNIT! They never replaced anything, IT WAS EVEN THE SAME MOUTHPIECE! My fianc even commented to the technician that we had just paid all that money, They couldnt even give us a new mouthpiece, and the tech had to go look for one. They clearly lied to us in order to charge us whatever they wanted. This is NOT ok, we were manipulated, lied to, and taken advantage of. This needs to be resolved, and they need to stop doing this to people.Business Response

I went in for a breathalyzer calibration and I was supposed to only pay $61.55. After the calibration was done they gave me a phone call and said the total was going to be 269 so I asked why am I getting charge so much their response was you have violations? I asked what violations and they could not answer that question They told me I have to pay that amount or they are going to impound my vehicle so I called the cops to try to resolve this issue but the cop said I just need to pay that amount theyre asking for and every time Ive ever try to get a hold of them I can never get a hold of them. They never answer the phone And the customer service is just awful and I want to warn other people about these guys after the cops arrived. They told me they have several complaints about this particular business that this is not the first time they have to go down there for the same issue, so Im just surprised that no one has actually said something about it , I arrive there at nine in the morning and wasnt able to leave until 12 oclock. I tried to pay my total, but they told me they only accept cash. Then I have to call corporate in order to pay that amount with a card. All Im trying to accomplish is to switch companies but they wont let me switch companies. They said I had to pay a bunch of money that I am under contract.Business Response

The absolute WORST company to deal with. I accept the mistake I made but the way this company treats people is HORRID. When I first got my device it didn’t work properly and didn’t tell me it was time for a calibration. The company charged me $1200 for the device. After hours of hassle, they finally agreed to give me my money back but only if I left a 5 star review. Since then, it’s just been issue after issue. Hidden fees, random things. I’ll accept my late charges, that was on me. The service is the WORST that I have ever seen in a company. They hardly ever answer their phones. The guys at the workshop are rude as can be. I got my device removed today, and it cost $419. Pricey in my opinion but whatever. Then I get a call from the help desk (not from the guy working on my car) saying there is “damage” to the device. I took pictures of the device and cord right before I went in. They lied. Said it was going to be another $200, unless I leave them a 5 star review. As soon as I leave the review, they lock me out of the app and a guy brings my car around. Says nothing to me and hurries back inside. No proof of damage was shown. I advise anyone and everyone to stay away from this company. And I would hope the state of Utah would reconsider their certification. Absolutely the WORST!Business Response

The company doesn't answer their phone. I was told this was a court-approved interlock company with ******, set up my contract through this company to have them send the reports to my DMV in ******. This business charged a card I no longer authorized them to do so. I confronted them about it and they wouldn't delete the old card information, would not remove the charge and charge to an authorized card. Anyone I tried to talk to on the phone hung up on me. After that they forwarded my calls and I couldn't speak with anyone. I am moving away so I needed to get my device removed. I tried calling them to schedule it, but as they are refusing my calls, I couldn't reach anyone. I got it removed by an actual state approved business, which A1 is not. I didn't learn this til it was too late. I returned the device to them undamaged and they claimed it was damaged and want to charge me $3000. They continue to charge me, even though I do not have their device and I'm no longer in any of their services. This business is a huge scam.Business Response
