    Devin W**** came over on a Saturday morning- less than 24 hours from my request for an estimate. We were explained the ins and outs of not only the product we were potentially buying, but also the differences between brands I’ve known of all my life. We are moving forward with 100% certainty that this was the right choice. Devin took his time, made sure we felt comfortable and confident in our purchase and worked out pricing options we could afford for windows we will have in our forever home.

    Sam L*** did an excellent sales presentation and informed us about the differences between Universal Windows products and competitors. The Windows cost more than we originally planned but the better quality and lifetime guarantee seemed to make it worth the extra cost to us. We hope there are no problems with the completion of this window project. The number of BBB grievances about UW was a little concerning. UW appears to be responsive to their customers needs.

    Run away from this company! On July 5 2022, after a lengthy presentation(3 hours) I contracted for 4 double hung and 1 Mull Group consisting of a picture window and 2 double hung windows. Of which I was told, would be all one piece. They would just take the old windows out and slide the Mull Group in. I made my down payment, signed the contract and was told it would be 12-14 weeks. The next morning I was going over things and noticed that the hardware was in tan and not the bronze that I would of preferred. So I called Devin and made that change. In late August I got a phone call that my windows were in and they needed the 2nd payment to set up install date. The date was set for Sept. 6th at 8:00. The night before they called and said there was a family emergency and asked to change it to 7th. And it was all downhill from there. The picture window in my Mull Group was black instead of Bronze. The Den windows were the wrong size and no Bronze hardware. The installer was higher than a kite by the time he left here at 9:00pm. One window was installed in the Den, that was noticeably 2 inches smaller all the way around. And Justin said Tim wanted him to convince me to accept the windows. I was told that a rush had been put on the correct windows and hardware. After several weeks of not hearing anything, I contacted Devin to inquire about them. He said they wouldn't be in until end of November. Finally got a phone call to install Dec. 6th. Again a family emergency, moved to the 7th. Installers came installed the windows. The caps to cover the screw holes in the picture window were missing and still no Bronze hardware. The Den windows are difficult to open and close. I was told they would be in in about a week. On 1/11/23 I got a call that they were in and would have to pay the remaining bal.(which I don't believe I owed) before they set a date for install or my warranty would be voided and I wouldn't get my hardware. So I paid and set date for 2/21. This company is a joke

    The sales **** *************** was really informative and pleasant to converse with. We ended up at the price range I expected an celebrated in the evening with us as a new customer.The crew that did the installation was a fun group. We had a wonderful time cracking jokes while they worked on our windows. My Husband and Father-in-law worked in a bit of construction in the past and saw no issues in the work that they did. I am a super satisfied customer and was overjoyed to finally get new windows installed in our home.7 Windows replaced withing 5-6 hours.

    My windows were installed yesterday. The company kept in touch with me via email weekly during the entire process. The crew were a bit late getting started but when everyone was here they installed 16 windows in a single day! My home is noticeably warmer today.

    We had siding placed on our home in September 2022. Within 2 weeks, siding was bulging in two places and over 90 pieces of siding are damaged. It took numerous phone calls and over 2 weeks before we could get the company back out to fix the bulging areas, but were told that we would have to wait on the damaged pieces to be replaced. No clue as to how long this will take because they have refused to communicate with us. Here it is mid November and we are still without our new gutters and downspouts. Unfortunately, this company was paid in full before this job was completed. To say we are disappointed is an understatement. My next phone call is the **** **************************

    The windows look good and the installation crew (good group) worked hard and did a good job with the tools they had. I am pleased with the job they did with one exception. They did not have a long enough metal break to put the header and sill cap on in one piece for my picture window. They had to seam it in the middle which , though still functional, does not look as good as one solid piece. Only time will tell if the windows are worth the cost.
