Last year I had 1 window installed to them. Around 2 months ago during the winds, the exterior capping came off. They did not install it strong enough. It was hanging down just above the door to the backyard which my 3 small kids frequently use. I called them and explained the issue and they told me the soonest they can schedule is around 1 month later.When the day came, the guy who came, couldn't fix it saying that the floor was TOO WET and said that he is going to call the office to reschedule it for the following Tuesday. However he couldn't reach the office to reschedule it. Tuesday nobody showed up. 1 week passed nobody showed up. Then I called them again for the same issue. They are again telling me the soonest is in 40 days in February. I explained the situation but he tells me that there is nothing they can do. I asked if I can talk to responsible guy he says "I am the highest person you can reach". Stay away from Universal Windows Direct. Their customer service sucks. I also realized that I paid much more than other companies. There are local companies that do almost their half price. If you are in Columbus, you can consider them and other local ones. I have emailed customer service after they (auto)replied, they are still giving me the same date which is 1 month later for the repair. On Feb 9, I didn't see my window fixed. They didnt send me an email or called me . Then I emailed and they said the technician came but left without fixing it because it was TOO WINDY. They wanted to reschedule it for March 17 which was 40 days later. On March 17, I got a voice mail from technician saying he couldnt fix because it was TOO DRY (not joking) and that he needs to call his boss to get it rescheduled. Next business day I called the technician he told me that he already talked to his boss but he doesnt know when the new date is. And no one called or emailed me regarding the new date. And I am 1000% sure it is going to be postponed another 1 month.Universal Windows Direct of Columbus

We are in need of new windows. Visited 2023 Columbus home and garden show. We looked at many manufactures, selecting 2 to review. Universal windows direct visited my home and spent 3 hours measuring, sharing and educating us on not only their products but others as well. Mr Devin Wells was friendly, honest, knowledgeable and above all patient with my wife and I. We have decided to go with their products to refresh the look and efficiency of our home. Devin W**** exceeded my expectations. Thank you Devin for all your help in updating our home!Glenn K

Update, changing review of UWD to 1 star. This looked promising but didn't go so well. Asked to submit review before contract in hand, my bad I know better. Reviewing contract the next day, many terms / conditions of contract do not represent the verbal discussions with Mr. Wells. The next day, I made several calls to other companies and found competing window products for half the quoted cost, and with same "Special" features. I visited the company offices and executed a contract cancellation as provided under state law. However, the company can't seem to locate my deposit check, and haven't been able to do so or communicate with me since. I'm extremely disappointed in the rush to sell, misrepresentation of contract terms, lack of details during the quote process and lack of professionalism navigating the cancellation process. Consumers should proceed with caution contracting under these conditions with Universal Windows Direct.Universal Windows Direct of Columbus
