STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! I got a job here and was super excited to "change lives"...YEAH RIGHT! The only thing any of these people care about is money. My job as a career advisor was SALES and very pushy! You are told to basically "dig into the lead's PAIN and WHY" meaning push people to tell you what they don't like about their life, pretend you care, and pretend that MYCC will make their life better. Also you call so many people MULTIPLE times a day and are expected to be so pushy that I ended up feeling bad for the people I was calling. Their main core value is LOVE and you never see that...anywhere. Also during a company meeting the owner wanted to "open with prayer" but then went on to rant about possibly losing funding because of the government and tried to force all the employees to share their new SALES PITCH on all our social media. Very sad place.MyComputerCareer

Our students work incredibly hard every day and our employees understand we ask for the same level of commitment from them. Thousands of potential students connect with us hoping to work their way into the program, and we work tirelessly to help them do so from the admissions process all the way through graduation. Our employee family, many of whom have been with us for a number of years, is driven by student success which requires very real dedication to the process. Best of luck to you in the next chapter.Review fromRob M

THEY WILL LIE AND SAY ABSOLUTELY ANYTHING TO GET YOU TO APPLY TO THE PROGRAM. This place has been AN ABSOLUTE SCAM since the beginning of dealing with them. I spoke with a recruiter in January, and talked to her about the 12 week Cyber Warrior Program. I explained to her that I have booked flights and plans for a wedding in March so I would have to miss classes. She recommended that I participate in February classes because there was a break in the program that week. I applied for the classes and got to the introduction the Friday before classes were supposed to start. They explained to me that classes were 9am-6pm, when the recruiter said it was 9am-5pm. I specifically asked times with the recruiter because I have prior engagements that I have to attend at 6pm. They explained that if you miss two straight classes, that you are automatically dismissed from the program. So after talking to someone, they didn't have an answer for me and only thing they could recommend was taking the classes in March that starts 2 days after I get back from the wedding. So I agreed to the March classes, but then receive a phone call a week before classes saying the class is now full and I don't have a spot in the class. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!!!!MyComputerCareer

These thoughts are a bit strong for a couple of reasons. One, the potential student never attended, and two, after speaking with our admissions team, it seems what was said and what was heard might have been different. Of course we won't go into specifics for the reviewer's sake, but the team did work with a last-minute request to enroll later and unfortunately that class filled quickly and there were no open spots. It's a popular program and it's a tough seat to secure. There was an open line of communication throughout this process so the thoughts above are a little surprising. We certainly wish *** nothing but success moving forward.Review fromAmanda B

They told my that fed loan services was for refunded loans when they just randomly decided to withdraw me for taking an approved break due to health issues. Never responded to me and just got another $5k bill after everything was covered by federal loans and one private loan. So at this point I owe $20,000 for 2 months or school and theyre lying about $10k of it. SCAMMERSMyComputerCareer

Hi, ******...after thoroughly reviewing your account and your time with us, this review is a bit surprising. There was a steady flow of outreach and communication from our team so "never responded to me" doesn't seem to sync. Regarding the amount owed on your account, you did attend school and per state and federal regulations there is an amount owed for your time, but the figure you're quoting is above the actual amount owed. We will continue to be available if you have additional questions. Best of luck to you moving forward.Review fromJack C

The initial ITSA program was an awesome entry level course. The career placement assistance was also very good and after about three months of searching I finally landed a good job. Then I joined the *** program to continue my career progression. This is where everything changed. The mentors in that course were very lazy. They didn't keep track of your test attempts and were clueless about your status unless you contacted them. Aside from cookie cutter templated email reminders of assignment progress, they were never heard from. One of them left his camera on without realizing it during multiple lectures and you could see him just skimming through his phone and petting his cat, not paying attention to the class at all. There were even times he was asked a question by the instructor and never responded because he was afk. Failed first tries at both the **** and CySA+ exams and had no time for second attempts due to the course pace and not being allowed to attempt more than ******** at a time. Then came time for ******* exam and the instructor and three mentors were cc'd on the voucher request. A week after the request was approved, one of the mentors responded to request saying my scores weren't good enough because he took a week to even see the request and the course had ended by then. He argued with me back and forth through five emails before realizing he was wrong and then just went silent. Failed that attempt and it took two months before I could try again and I failed that one too. By then, the grace ****** was over and that was that, no second attempts at the **** or CySA+. I was then ghosted by the instructor who was no longer responsive to my emails and when I contacted Alumni Services I was told the education department could not contact me because I requested them not to which was false, I was just being brushed under the rug by being given hoops to jump through until I got sick of it and quit trying. $10k+ down the drain and zero certs from the course.MyComputerCareer

Hey, ****...it's obviously really great to hear you found success in ITSA and found a gig with the help of career services. Congratulations on both of those accomplishments. Regarding your experience in the *** program, this is outside of the norm and certainly surprising to hear. We'll be sharing this note with the team and they will review and connect if/when appropriate. Hope you find continued personal and professional success.MyComputerCareer

After looking into this a bit, wanted to post one quick update. It seems some of your frustration lies with communication and process, which is surprising because there was a consistent email dialogue between yourself and the team with folks trying to assist you in the program. Much like ITSA, CSS moves quickly and the exams are no joke, but our process and your network of support are in place to help you navigate all challenges, including our dedicated team of mentors. With some of the additional details we were able to review your thoughts left here are surprising, and we'll need to agree to disagree. But, of course, we wish you well and are pleased you've found success in the IT industry.Review fromShanice T

This 'school' does not care who they sign up for or their financial information. They will sit anyone down to hurry up and start their financial aid to pocket that money for bogus expenses. I had made the mistake of attending the school around the year 2018-2019 and haven't looked back. I paid off a few loans in full 4 years ago and never mentioned this fraudulent company and landed a job with skills from legitimate schools and programs that didn't cost anywhere near as much. Just today, I found out someone named *************************** used my email, impersonating me for student loans. What's odd is that the email address and the name didn't match and no one found it suspicious. I emailed and called the financial officer and they didn't say anything except, "I hear you. I get your message." None of this would have happened if they didn't allow anyone to roll in without a screening process for their 'school'. The fact this happened tells me they don't care and it shows in how they handle business just like their programs. Because of this failure to make sure someone fraudulent wasn't trying to take out PRIVATE LOANS in someone else's name, I had to take time off of work to report them to different government facilities because someone was indulging in criminal activity. This 'school' has no shame and doesn't care. There is no confirmation email letting me know they resolved the issue or not.MyComputerCareer

Hi, *******...after reviewing your account I wanted to share some of the information here that the team also shared personally with you. Your rep did, in fact, use an incorrect email of another student in a correspondence so please accept our apologies for this mistake. But, as you know, that correspondence did not contain any personal information or details of your loan and thankfully nobody was using your identity. Regarding some of your other comments, we certainly care about every one of our students and do whatever we can to guide them to successful careers and lives. I'm glad to see you're doing well and please let us know if we can be of assistance any time.Review fromJustin T

I would leave a 0 out of 5 if I could. My financial aid advisor totally lied to me to get me to join this school. She told me that while I didnt qualify for any of the regular grants, that a government program would cover approximately $10,000 of my tuition and that the remaining **** I will be responsible to pay AFTER I GRADUATE. The loan company began to charge me the second month I was in school and I wasnt even aware of it because I dont check my email often and didnt see the bills. I wasnt expecting to be charged until I graduated as I was told so I wasnt necessarily looking for any bills at the moment. The only way I found out was when my credit score dropped 98 points in one day from being 154 days late. And it turns out that I still owe the $10,000 as well that she said would be covered by the government program. She carefully worded things in a specific way to make me feel comfortable signing up for something that I never would have signed up for had I known the truth. When you are trying to join the school, they call you over and over again and everybody is available but now that I have been trying to get this situation taken care of nobody will proactively respond back to me. I decided to go to the school to better my life and become more financially stable, and its actually done the opposite and sent me into a deep depression. I take my credit extremely seriously, and to have it dropped so low that I am now feeling that I cannot apply for my new apartment without being rejected. I am forced to stay somewhere where I am not happy at the moment. If I was told the truth about how much I would have to pay and when I would have never signed up for this class, but she told me whatever she could to get me to join the school. Its sad because people are really going to this school to change their life and for some people it will totally ruin theirs.MyComputerCareer

****************...first and foremost, congratulations on graduating the program. As you know that is a massive accomplishment. Regarding the enrollment team potentially misleading you or not providing all information, that's very surprising to hear. We have processes in place to ensure students fully understand the responsibilities they might take on before making a pretty major life decision like beginning the program. This is incredibility important for both leadership and the entire enrollment team to eliminate confusion. Please know we are here to help you find success, and will do everything possible to help you do so. As a graduate, you have ****** Services for life so we would urge you to connect, or reconnect with the team and they will assist in every step of your journey. In the meantime if you need anything, feel free to send me an email at **************************************Review fromAlex S

Resent student. Only attended 4 classes. I was mislead by my "student advisor" who deliberately mislead me after I told her my goal was to get a $45/hr+ job in cyber security once finished. I even wrote this goal down for her. She did not bother letting me know that this goal WAS NOT ATTAINABLE with the certificates this course offered. I found out during class 4 that it was geared toward being an IT guy with an average pay of $21 - $25 an hr. (NOT WORTH $20K) Looking back I should have known better.Even though I talked to the *** of the company who gave me another sales pitch and even tried to tell me that the in person meeting with the "student advisor" was "recorded" to which I responded "Great, I'm going to need a copy of the recording". Once I asked for the recording he said they don't keep the recordings past a ridiculously short span of time given I was asking for it less than a month later leads me to believe he was lying about that.He stated the student is the first priority of the school. However, the actions of the sales staff and *** prove different as I'm now on the hook for A LOT of money even though I withdrew from the class after being misled by the "student advisor". The *** stated they "earned" that money. It's clear they the *** and sales team's priority is to sell the classes even at the detriment of the student.I'm now in the process of trying to figure out how I'm going to pay for education I did not receive while trying to continued to support my 2 kids as a single father WITHOUT THEIR MOTHER. I would give this "school" a negative star rating if I could. If this "school" cared for the student in the way they said they do they would pay back the money given to them they DID NOT EARN for the education I did not receive after being misled and lied to about what this "school" could do for me. I will change this review if they do the right thing.MyComputerCareer

While we never want to read that somebody had a less than ideal experience, when terms like "mislead" are used they are a bit of a red flag as we have several processes in place to help ensure that's not the case. Much of the enrollment consultation is scripted and approved by our compliance team to make sure folks moving through the process have every bit of information needed to make the best decision for them. And even though it shouldn't need to be stated, legally we could not, and morally we would not, lie or exaggerate about any outcomes in the programs we offer. Before any potential student makes the final decision to enroll, we make sure she/he have all details needed to make an informed decision that is best for them and their families. We wish you nothing but success both personally and professionally.Review fromJ. B.

I've been in the courses for about 5 months now and I don't feel like I've learned anything besides patience. Everything in this course is available online and the only real "value" you get is being able to take the tests multiple times without paying out of pocket. I'm really regretting the $20,000 loan at this point and it doesn't seem like these pieces of paper will really do anything besides gather dust on my wall. I've even had an instructor answer my question with "use ChatGPT". I'm wondering what the instructors are paid and why that answer would even come up. This place seems like one big scheme to get government money and offer as little as possible in return.MyComputerCareer

Hi, ******...I've checked your file and am a bit surprised by this post. It seems like you've had some real support in the program to help you try and hit some lofty goals. Our instructors are some of the best in the industry and work tirelessly both in and out of the classroom to help students find success. And for sure, some of what is offered in the program is available through self-paced learning and we encourage everyone to explore the path that works best for them. Our program is designed for learners who need a bit more structure and guidance in their educational journeys. If you're still in the program don't give up! Connect with the folks in your circle and let them know how you're feeling. They're in your corner. Thanks.J. B.

Just to clarify, since this place doesnt like to put anything specific in writing, the amount of support I've received has been people attempting to force me into phone calls to talk about my issues, and when I request it be done over email (in an attempt to have a paper trail), they simply deny and continue to spam call me. If you have issues speaking over the phone then this IT school isn't for you because this TECHNOLOGY school doesn't know the crazy technology of E-Mail.Review fromSharon

2 starsIve only been attempting mycomputercareer for 3 months and all I will say is If youre a hands on do it yourself learner then I dont recommend this school. If youre more of a listening learner than I 100% recommend. If youre expecting to do class labs and get in the guts of a computer this is not that. You sit from 6:00pm to 9-9:30pm(if you have night classes) listening to the instructor talk and then the next hour and a half youre doing homework which consist of 2-3 hours worth of videos from a almost robot sounding man and you answer the questions after. Its not a terrible school just not a school for a 18 year old fresh out of high school unless youve been into IT since you were 12 by all means you might actually love it here. Its funny because I have all the free time in the world to get this done and learn about it its just my school is not the biggest motivation for me. Again its not a bad school and the people are really nice and helpful its just not what I expected and it isnt matching my learning style. I know they said learning IT was hard which I expected they never said was going to be the most boring 7 months of my life though. If this is what they meant by hard then I am okay missing out on that good paying money.Review fromCraig S
