This company is a scam like all the others selling leads to you but everyone else is benefiting from it and you pay out so much money and do not get one potential client from it all but they want you to pay them for what I havent gotten a client the government needs to step in on this type of companies because they are getting rich off of telling u that they are sending u leads but also sending them to millions other agencies at the same time how fair is that dont nobody have money to burn when they are trying to run a businessCaring.com

Hi, We're a legitimate digital marketing partner to senior care agencies nationwide, and the maximum number of agencies who receive a prospective client lead from us simultaneously is four (no more than four agencies receive the lead at once). We didn't find your email address in our current customer records, but did find a former partner agency matched to your name. That agency listing hasn't received leads from us in months, though. A member of our management team will be reaching out to discuss your concerns further.Review fromCharlie H

I recently located an assisted living facility for my Mom. After getting on their waitlist, I heard about another facility and decided to check them out. So, I went to what I believed was the website for that facility . . . but it was actually an exact copy of the facility's homepage, with the Caring.com phone # inserted. ****** of Caring.com answered my call, informed me that I hadn't actually reached the facility, and offered to help. I initially declined but he was persistent in wanting to send me some info and he stressed that there would be no cost or commitment on my part, so I agreed to evaluate what he wanted to send me. He sent me a list of a few facilities, none of which met my search criteria, and I let him know that I was going to stick with my initial choice. He asked that I provide him the name of that facility and I declined (I don't share personal or business contact information with uninvolved third parties). He was very persistent in wanting the facility name but I again declined. Since then, over a period of ************************ has sent me numerous texts, emails and voicemails, all insisting that I provide him the name of the facility. His messages contain this statement: "In order for me to close out your file I will need the name of the community or provider you have selected. This will stop any future emails and calls from Caring.com and the providers we had referred you to." This is a textbook case of extortion! ******, and Caring.com are harassing me, and promising to continue doing so unless I provide the information they demand. Today, I provided written documentation to ******/Caring.com that I will be taking them to court if this continues. Based on the number of one-star reviews similar to mine that Caring.com has earned, it appears to me that: 1) they are a criminal enterprise, and 2) there are likely enough other people tired of their abusive business practices that my attorney will be able to turn this into a class action case.Caring.com

This is the email message I sent to caring.com: I agreed to one visit with one facility. I have been inordinated with phone calls, messages, emails and texts from multiple facilities. Many of these facilities contacted me multiple times with multiple phone calls, messages, emails and texts. I'm looking for assisted living but also received multiple communications from independent living facilities?I live in ****** and received multiple communications from a facility in ******?The number of contacts is overwhelming. I'm not going to work with caring.com again past the one appointment I agreed to.It's too much. This has been very intrusive.I'm going to work within my own time frame and at my own pace.---I sent them an additional email saying that I am not going to work with them at all and told them to cancel the one appointment. I told them to contact every facility that they sent my information to and tell them that I'm not working with caring.com.I also called and made a complaint on their recorded phone line. I threatened that if they didn't take care of notifying every facility they sent my information to that I am not working with caring.com that I would take it to both of my congressmen AND take it to the ******* was told someone would call me back in a few minutes. No they did not. That call was on a recorded line.I am still getting multiple contacts and they did not cancel that one appointment. I've also been told that since they sent out my information to facilities, if I did business with any of those facilities I did so as their client. I never agreed to this. It wasn't mentioned.I signed no contract, agreed to no verbal contract, the employee I talked to on that one short phone call never mentioned a contract. One short phone call and they own me forever? That cannot be. That is not ok.Caring com, fix your mess. I am NOT your client and you need to correct this with each and every facility you sent my information to.Caring.com

Caring.com is using we care in home care Agency ****** name to advertise using *********** care location office address plus logo and name. Please note this Agency in Farewood Cascade location belongs to We ********************* but not Caring.comCaring.com

We appreciated working with your agency previously, and removed the logo as you requested. We're now hosting a free informational page and consumer reviews about the agency (the advertisement and enhanced services for the agency were discontinued). At Caring.com, our social mission is to provide comprehensive and valuable resources for seniors and their families seeking information about senior care agencies and senior living communities. We've created a platform to help seniors and their families make informed decisions based on accurate and detailed information about senior living and senior care.As part of our services to seniors and their families, and in the interest of transparency and hosting consumer service feedback in online reviews publicly available to anyone who needs them: Our comprehensive directory includes any senior care agencies operating (and where applicable, licensed) in U.S. cities nationwide. The directory and its reviews program isn't limited to advertisers. We provide this complete information publicly to assist seniors and their families in finding the right care and agency that meets their unique needs and preferences (even if they do not use Caring's referral services, they can still visit the public information pages and read the consumer reviews about the agency). We also rely on a variety of sources to gather and publish business information on agency info pages, including publicly available data and content, agency submissions, and partnerships with trusted providers. Please contact us if you see any inaccurate information about your agency on our website so that we may update the information available to seniors and their families. Thank you!Review fromTammy M

I attempted to submit a review with factual details about a company that delivered very poor care and they refused to publish it. I rewrote this according to their ***************** declined. This information would be very important for those looking for a place for their loved one. This was very suspicious and a red flag for a company that is supposed to do referrals to help desperate families.Caring.com

Hi, Thanks for your feedback! Please contact ****************************** (or reply to the review decline notice) for help publishing a valid review on our website. Unfortunately, the first review we received from you was potentially libelous and lacked specific service-related feedback, and the second review we received from you was erroneously placed (e.g., gave feedback about medical/nursing services for a non-medical service level at a senior living community). These were the guidelines issues with your reviews that prevented their publication. Our reviews staff can help you if you reach out to us directly. Please note: the referral business is not considered when publishing or declining reviews; we instead evaluate reviews based on upholding our high integrity review guidelines; and we're here to help seniors and their families when an error is made in the review submission. We look forward to helping you too!Review fromMiMi C

My intention to seek a platform for authentic discourse is grossly dismissed. In the pursuit of accountability, I find myself compelled to voice a truth that stands in ***** contrast to the public narrative. It appears there is a selective sieve in place, one that filters out the variegated experiences of real people, favoring instead the gleaming, unblemished accounts that serve a commercial agenda. The dissonance between the proclaimed impartiality and the reality of censored voices speaks to a deeper, more disquieting trend of discrimination for the sake of profit. With evidence in hand and a commitment to the unvarnished truth, I turn to the Better Business Bureau to lay bare a practice that prioritizes financial gain over factual representation. If a five-star facade is meticulously curated by excluding the one to four-star realities, then the integrity of such a platform is, regrettably, in question. Transparency is not just a virtue; it is a cornerstone of trust. When that is compromised, it is not just the reviews that are diminished, but the very fabric of trust that binds us to institutions meant to serve our best interests.Caring.com

Hi, We saw this feedback you posted on SiteJabber too. Thank you ****, for your interest in participating in Caring's high-integrity reviews program (which hosts tens of thousands of negative reviews). We cannot publish the medical and private photos you sent us, but we did provide you with the contact information for the long-term care ombudsman. We also provided information on how to publish valid content in the Caring reviews program. Please contact ****************************** if you need any further assistance. This company seems 'very' aggressive in collecting information then getting me to various care facilities they offer. They made date/***************** for me to visit various care facilities on my first call when I'm just in discovery phase. Once they got word out to their facilities I've been getting so many calls from them all afternoon, some overlapping a call in progress with one of their facilities. Multiple emails, move in specials but I have lock in before it expires. It's all becoming a big turn off to be honest. It is like stepping onto a car lot and having 10 sales people greet you all at once. I may adjust my review and star rating up or down depending on this aggressiveness goes past today.Caring.com

Thank you ****, for reaching out to Caring for senior care support and for sharing about your experience with the Caring partners who followed up on your referral. We've alerted the Family Advisor who helped you (and their manager) to let them know about your feedback, and they are available to further support you in your discovery (and to help adjust communication preferences and/or adjust the referral for various types of service providers): *************. While we don't own or operate senior living communities, home care agencies, medical alert companies, or VA benefits agencies, and we make referrals by request and consent of seniors and their family members: we can do some outreach to help with the volume of follow up you're receiving after seeking information. We're focused on empathetic, expert guidance at no cost to ************, and if we've fallen short in our mission with your referral, we'll address that ASAP. Thank you for making us aware, and we hope to speak with you soon to resolve this concern.Review fromLisa F

This company is a scam. Do not use them. They pressure you to give them information about you and then when you don't, they hang up on you. I couldn't get a word in with these people, they were rude and insistent on me giving my information without listening to my needs, and when I wouldn't their attitude completely changed. Avoid at all costs!Caring.com

Thank you for taking the time to raise this concern with us. We researched the brief call you had with a Family Advisor, and it unfortunately did not meet our service standards in providing empathetic, expert guidance for seniors and their families. We've followed up to provide more training for that referral agent, and apologize for the initial experience you had. Should you still need average cost information, you may find it helpful to read through our award-winning Senior Living Report online it does not require an account login, you don't have to give your contact info or have a phone-based referral, and it does provide general information about senior living in various states and cities in *****************, such as this page about ******, *******: *************************************************************** The PayingforSeniorCare.com website also has information to support seniors and their families in researching senior living costs and how to pay. If you have any more questions or concerns, please reach out to our customer service team via ********************************* Thank you!
