As a fairly new business, we have been ripped off by caring.com. Thier leads don't ever respond or you end up upsetting them for just reaching out. I dont think they do a good job filtering their leads before sending it to us. They send them anyway so they could easily charge us. Their (caring.com) response time is terrible especially when you have a complaint. If youre a new business and looking to get a reliable referral partnership, DO NOT SIGN UP with caring.com. They will rip you off for bad leads. We were going through tough **************** I had asked that we pause our leads but they sent them anyway and charged us still. Very heartless and money scheming. Save yourself from the pain and do not sign up with caring.comCaring.com

Thank you ******* for sharing your feedback. Caring is focused on building and maintaining strong partnerships with local home care agencies, to continue successfully meeting the needs of the many seniors and families who turn to us in their search for local senior care providers. We honor our service agreements with partner agencies and provide agencies with a range of digital marketing and sales support. Were disappointed to hear that the customer service we provided for your agency fell short from your perspective. In addition to the goodwill lead credit we previously gave to your business, we invite you to reach out to our team if you need any further accounting of the services we provided or any additional quality-assurance research done for the leads you purchased: hc-******************************** Thank you!Review fromGluco Lodge PCH S

We are a provider that has been attempting to utilize caring.com services to help keep up with our occupancy census. It's unfortunate that I feel the need to post a poor review, but after endless emails and phone calls of constantly correcting them on our information I feel this is our last resort. Keep in mind this in not just a few months that we've been struggling with the same issues, but years! We receive multiple leads from caring.com but none of the leads either meet our qualifications and we end up disappointing a family, which also wastes the client time as well as ours, (I can't imagine considering that as good business practice) or the leads never return any of our attempts to reach out. I cannot imagine that they just make up leads, as that would not help anyone, but it certainly leads me to question how they received the leads. If there is a way to improve any of these issues, we are open to your efforts. If not, I'd like to just share so that hopefully I could save someone's time and sanity.Caring.com

Just as the others, they would not post my response about Methodist Manor (********, **) because it was a negative reviewCaring.com

Hello, We publish negative reviews there are currently tens of thousands of negative reviews about senior living communities and senior care agencies publicly available on our website. Your review submission wasnt declined for being negative; instead, it was declined for being outside our review guidelines, as it contained private or personally identifiable information. Please contact ****************************** for further assistance with our reviews program. Thank you!B. W.

While the review did contain identifiable information, that is publicly listed on *************** public website. It did not contain private information. In addition, I am not the only one to report on Caring.com's failure to publish negative review, there have been numerous reports of Caring.com NOT publishing reviews that are not positive, but factual.Caring.com
Date: 01/08/2025
Upon further research, we found this individual submitted 4 reviews to Caring LLC for the same assisted living community, using two different identities. At this time: They do have two reviews published on two of our websites (Caring.com and ***************) about the senior living community (one dated for March 2023, and one dated December 2024); both of their published reviews are negative 1-star reviews (the other two submissions are duplicates and were declined for being outside the content publication guidelines). Thus, unfortunately, their comments on the BBB website are factually inaccurate about Caring's reviews program. We encourage them to contact ****************************** if they need web links and/or screenshots of their published (negative) review content on our websites.Review fromTrish R

I think they and all their people are wonderful. ********, Aanika and ***, are respectful, gentle, kind, prompt and the best!! They were recommended by a friend and I would definitely recommend Home Instead to anyone that needs help with a loved one. They are very responsive to everything my husband needs to be comfortable and make sure he is safe getting in and out of bed at night. He has had many bad falls. I have peace of mind and am able to sleep knowing they are there. The staff calls to Make sure things are going smoothly and if there are changes in personal. We are very happy with Home instead. ***** *****Caring.com

Hi *****, We're so glad to hear you've had a great experience with Home Instead. However, that's a different business than Caring.com. Here's where you can leave a review for them on our website: Caring.com/reviews Thank you!Review fromPatricia S

The Caring.com *** was extremely helpful. My sister and I were trying to find a suitable Assisted Living facility in **********, ** for our mother. I live in *******. She saved me hours and hours on the phone and saved my sister in ********** hours of running around ********** touring facilities. We are on a very limited budget and Caring.com helped us narrow down our search for a facility and was able to provide approximate pricing, number of beds, star rating, etc. Yes, I did get inundated with emails, phone calls and text messages from the facilities Caring.com referred me to but they definitely made the task of finding a place a lot easier. I was skeptical at first but I would definitely use Caring.com again and would recommend them.Caring.com

***** ******** (Family Advisor) was the worst! She was more concerned that I agree to a $500 housekeeping service than helping me find a place for my mother to LIVE. She even sent me a DocuSign agreement TWICE to work with her, as if I'd sign something that was not even explained to me. She said she had no places matching my criteria and then said she'd be with me the entire way. No ma'am, you will not. I had to block her. She is ridiculous, gaslit me and is pretending to help me. A complete waste of time. Now she has housekeepers calling my phone and I don't even have a place for my mom to live yet. I am livid!Caring.com

Thank you for reaching out to Caring for support in your senior living and senior care search. We've escalated your feedback to management to explore how we could have better supported your particular situation. The written documentation you were sent about the referral was required by state law (and disclosed verbally during the recorded call). We've confirmed that your request to be removed from Caring calls and emails has been honored. If you need any more assistance from us, please contact ********************************* Thank you, and all the best to you and your family!Review fromSonia J

I have submitted 3 revised reviews and have made two calls to the Care Review Team at caring.com. Their response is, I'm not meeting their guidelines. I don't believe they are sincere about publishing negative reviews about a facility in ********* *********. Maybe I'm not aware of what type of company caring.com is. Whoever they are, they will having you jumping through hoops if you try to submit a legitimate but negative review about an Assistant Living or Nursing Home facility.Caring.com

Despite advising Caring.com representatives and numerous independent living communities that they represent through multiple email and telephone conversations indicating clearly that we are not interested, the phone calls and emails keep coming. This annoyance is unprofessional to say the least and I am quite certain their are many people that must have the same trouble.Caring.com

I was scrambling to find places for my beloved aging family member to live and Caring.com bridged the gap I needed to find them. I worked with ******************************* who had all the information I needed that I couldn't get to because most assisted living facilities do not list their prices or availability on their websites. I am so thankful for ******* setting me up with a good list of options that contacted me right away and made this difficult process so much easier. In fact, within the same minute I reached out to Caring.com, ******* contacted me. She saved me so many fruitless phone calls with a jungle of assisted living facilities there are out there in my city and me having almost zero knowledge of how each worked. Rather than gambling effortlessly, ******* gave me everything I needed to do a more educated source, gave more pointers for what to look for at them and she was extremely nice about it too! I had worked with Assisted Living Locators before Caring.com and there is a night and day difference between the two. ******* is cordial, concise, considerate and kind to the core. ******************************* deserves a promotion and I'm so thankful for all the time, money and sanity that Caring.com has saved me with its assistance!! This company is a scam like all the others selling leads to you but everyone else is benefiting from it and you pay out so much money and do not get one potential client from it all but they want you to pay them for what I havent gotten a client the government needs to step in on this type of companies because they are getting rich off of telling u that they are sending u leads but also sending them to millions other agencies at the same time how fair is that dont nobody have money to burn when they are trying to run a businessCaring.com

Hi, We're a legitimate digital marketing partner to senior care agencies nationwide, and the maximum number of agencies who receive a prospective client lead from us simultaneously is four (no more than four agencies receive the lead at once). We didn't find your email address in our current customer records, but did find a former partner agency matched to your name. That agency listing hasn't received leads from us in months, though. A member of our management team will be reaching out to discuss your concerns further.
