    I am a freelance contractor that AvidXchange was hired to pay me. The option of payment was to sign up for a Mastercard merchant card. I told them I am not a merchant and there would be no reason for this extra expense that I would never use. They said they could also pay me that would require AvidXchange to take a percentage of my check. I said, no just mail me the check. It has been almost two weeks and I have not received the check. So since the client I did business with hired this company to pay me it is taking longer for payment to come to if rather than sending the check out themselves.

    Similar to everyone else I have a small business and getting paid from another company has been such a headache as of today I have still yet to recieve my business money it's unethical they take advatage of being a third party that's all their doing!!!!! Meanwhile where are all these peoples money? What's happened with my money AVIDXCHANGE? NOTHING AT ALL QUICK ABOUT YOUR company false advertisement !!!!!

    Top-********************** responses by ********************* and follow up by *********************************. They took the time to ensure I understood the different payment methods and assisted in setting up the service I preferred.     Similar to all other bad reviews. Poor customer service and lies all around. **** erode any third party interests and poison future prospects. Avoid at all costs.

    Failure to send checks until 2 to 3 weeks after approved! Holding funds to draw interest off earned moneys. Looking forward to my lawyer teaching Avid a ****** on this issue. In my opinion we didn't performed any duties for Avid and fill as those we done work for should be responsible and held to same standard as others. Not out responsibility to hand off too your bookkeepers.

    In the same boat as a few others I read. Turned in invoices and approved on 9th.2 checks issued the 12th didn't recieve checks til the 21st. When went to cash them both were declined then tried PayPal the smaller one was accepted and the big one was declined, again declined at another ******** Tried netspend declined called to see if they could explain what the problem is and told me they could cancel check and reissue another through the mail. The mail that they told me takes 7 to 10 days to recieve so with holidays and weekends I wouldn't see that money till January. I told them no ill try some other options but wanted to set up direct deposit. They told me that would take to weeks to get and email to sign up for it. So now it's two days before Christmas and I'm stuck with a piece of paper that I can't do anything with. No offer to overnight a check or even ***be expedite the direct deposit so I could acess my money. Nothing at all now ill be forced to try a check cashing store that charges me nearly one hundred dollars to cash. So it'll be two before I can get direct deposit or 10 days to recieve a new check that *** not be able to cash so with that being said I am beyond disappointed. It's like I'm gonna have to find a different job because I can't base my pay on their ridiculous time lines. Plus the deposit still takes three buisness days and my comosny5turbsbin on a Friday so your looking at almost a week on that side. So im just sick over the whole thing. Maybe a little more customer service instead of a disservice.

    So, our company receives checks from dozens of clients from all over the country in a timely fashion. We noticed that ****'s checks somehow arrive VERY late. We monitored the arrivals to be up to (20) days (literally one state distance) on several occasions. Interesting enough, we have inquired on delays and every time they manage to offer their ACH service of (a certain %) for deposit. Odd that they have clients that pay them, and they would have the audacity to try to charge the vendor to receive payment too. Ponzi scheme we suspect. Recently, we were issued a check that somehow ended up possibly stolen and deposited according to the representative. So after (10) days, suddenly the check was "cleared" because of fraudulent activity and a "new" one was issued after we called to inquire a 3rd time. The interesting thing is that NOONE from the company contacted us, and they literally issued another check via the **** exchange snail mail verses offering to direct deposit it OR overnight the check. If the check was truly suspected of "fraud", we are very confused as to why a representative would not contact us and advise of the incident AND offer to expedite payment. Also, our firm operates in the law enforcement sector so one would think that they would consider a protocol that would not make their company seem incompetent and avoid complaints and possibly losing existing clients because of improper business dealings. Sadly, we are still waiting on a manager to call us. from two days ago and from this incident.

    If I could leave a 0 I would. My small company has been dealing with avid for over 2 years. I subcontract with one of their customers. They hold your $ far too long after approval and offer to accelerate it for a fee when you cant pay your bills due to them holding your $. It should be illegal. When contacting them, you wait on hold for over an hour and then get disconnected. Dont bother sending emails,they wont be replied to. They currently owe me $3800 thats been I. Pending Payment status for 6 days! Their customer, the company I subcontract for, released payment to them a week ago! How are they still getting away with this?

    I very much dislike using this company. I don't have a choice though, since the company I subcontract to started using them. The only way to avoid getting a fee charged to me is to have them mail me a check. I needed to change my mailing address, so I went to Log In and it won't take any of the pass words I use. I clicked on Forgot my Password, gave my email address and was suppose to get a email sent to me to reset the password. I tried this twice and never received a email. I used the Chat online option. First Agent just said the ***** that could help me was not open and I needed to call Monday-Friday, 8 - 5. I asked *********************** ,the agent, what ***** and asked for the phone number. No response at all!!!!!!! I ended that chat and began a new one. This agent ***** was a bit more helpful and gave me a link. I went to the link and put in my infomation for them to email me back. Problem is it doesn't seem that I was given the correct link for my problem. This I have been on my computer for over hour on the companies website and have gotten no where!!!!!! I very much dislike using this company! Not sure what my next step should be??
