    On 7/18/24 I placed an online order with Blue Leaf Scanning to non-destructively scan a book published in 1898 and a magazine published in 1902 and then return the book and magazine. I paid $168.13 and shipped the book and magazine to the company and received an acknowledgment of shipment received on 7/23/24 stating that I would receive the scanned files within 12 business days and my original book and magazine returned within the same length of time after the files were sent. The order was designated *****. I have now written several emails asking what has become of my order and none of them have been responded to. Neither has a voicemail. I wish I had checked with the BBB before choosing to do business with this company. The book and magazine are each over 120 years old and are priceless. I want the scans and I want my book and magazine returned.

    The only thing that got this companys attention was the complaint to your office. But it was like pulling teeth. Each step in complaining resulted in them doing something. Finally, in the end they completed everything satisfactorily but I would never under any circumstances do business with them again.

    Transaction #: ***** Transaction Date: 4/24/2024 Amount Paid to seller: $216.21 Issue: Inability to contact seller for refund on product Details: I have been attempting to contact this seller since the date of the transaction for a refund. I decided to cancel my order after I was unable to contact the business to get certain details about the processes they used. I have attempted to contact them ever since and have been unable to. Today I have noted that their BBB accreditation has been revoked recently and have decided to file a complaint as I would like my money back and I don't think anyone else should use a service like this which cannot be contacted by their clients.

    On Sunday 5/12 the customer requested a refund and to return the books. We had to wait till the books were received.

    We received the books on 5/14.  At that same time he filed a dispute with PayPal.

    On 5/15 We responded to his PayPal case by issuing a refund through PayPal.

    PayPal issued the refund on 5/18

    The books were return shipped on 5/18.  Here is the *** tracking number. 1Z8289RA0394809689

    I do not have a record of the date but we did speak by phone because he requested a signature which slowed down the receipt of the books

    I sent in a book for scanning early February. Received confirmation email on 2/12/24 that book had come into Blue Leafs possession and that it would take 8-12 business days for service to be completed. The order number is *****, and $100.12 was paid for non-destructive scanning. It is now over a month later and I have not received a follow-up on the status of the book. I have reached out multiple times and received no response. Im fearful that Ive lost $100 and the bookwhich is incredibly meaningful to me and my collectors community. I would like for the service to be completed and book returned.

    I have experienced serious problems very similar to previous complaints that I have read on your site. I sent a very special book (my father's life history) with very few available copies to have a non-destructive scan created. I received an email on November 29th confirming that they had received my book and that the scan would be completed in 5 to 9 business days. I heard nothing and sent an email requesting an update on December 18. They said they were running behind and the scan would be delivered by the next Wednesday. On December 27th I received an email saying they had to purchase new equipment that would arrive by January 10th. I did not hear anything and sent an email on January 25th asking for an update. I called on January 26th and my call was answered. (He was driving and seemed to have picked up my call by mistake.) He said I would receive my scan that day. I did receive the scan along with a message that my book would be returned in 4 to 8 business days. In reviewing the file I found multiple pages were not scanned properly and I asked for those specific pages to be rescanned. I have now sent multiple emails and messages through the website. I have also called multiple times and left messages. I have never received a reply. I feel that I have been extremely patient in trying to work with Blue Leaf and I am being completely ignored. I am now extremely worried that my book has not been returned. Again, it is very difficult to get copies of this book. While I would like the work to have been done properly and with quality I will settle for just getting my book back. I would appreciate any help you could provide in recovering this valuable book for me.

    The company acknowledged receipt of my book on Nov 9. Their site claims to scan and return in 5-9 days. It's now more than a month. I have tried calling, emailing with no response. My order number is *****. I wish to have my scanned document asap.

    Made payment to Blue Leaf Book Scanning on Nov 2nd and books were received by company Nov 6th (signature was required for delivery). Quoted delivery time was 26 days due to size of order. I began reaching out to company 7 days ago to find out status of order. I have now called twice, and emailed 4 times, without a response from the company. I sent $3000 worth of books, and paid $2215.32 to the company for them to convert the books to a pdf.

    I placed an order for a scanning service and received an email on September 28, 2023 stating my book had been received and the service would be completed between 8 - 12 business days days.It's been almost a MONTH and I have not been able to get hold of anyone from this company.Tried email, phone, Skype and Messenger. on MULTIPLE occasions. The skype and Messanger do not work. There is no "chat" option although the site says there is. I used the telephone number on the site and left numerous Voice Messages, etc. I also used the email address on the site AND the form on the site to send MULTIPLE requests for status and that someone contact me. I left my phone number as well. I paid in advance for this service and have confirmation of payment by Paypal. This book is a hard to find directory of alumni and cannot be easily replaced, IF AT ALL. I am VERY concerned about this com how this important event is now spoilt due to this company lack of customer service.

    I am rejecting this response because:

    I contacted the business on several occasions and have yet to receive back the book I sent to be scanned. In addition, I contacted them about the quality of the scan they performed and the fact the .PDF version was returned as images vice a standard .PDF that acrobact can OCR.

    I have also been contacted by another cutomer who also did not receive her book back after ordering non-destructive scanning as I did.

    The business promised to send my original book back and it still has not arrtived.

    Please keep this complaint active.

    Order Number: ***** Payment Made on 09/12/23 Book Received by Blue Leaf Publishing on 09/15/23 *********** website, order fulfilled within 10 days for receiving book.To date, I have not received any communication about my order. I have left several phone messages, sent several emails, and used the contact form on their websites. The last contact I made was by phone and email on 10/9/23.I followed all handling instructions from the company to have my book scanned and made payment up front. I would appreciate receiving contact from the company and having my order completed or having my book returned and payment refunded along with shipping charges made to ship the book to them. Your assistance is appreciated

    After filing a claim with the payment processor Paypal, the business completed the service and I no longer have a pending uncompleted issue with the company. I dont know what additional steps need to be taken on my end, but at this point I am satisfied with the resolution.

    I placed an order for a scanning service and received an email on September 9th stating my book had been received and the service would be completed between **** days.It's been 20 days and I have not been able to get hold of anyone from this company.Tried email, phone, Skype and ******** Messenger.This book was written by my mother and I was planning to self publish it for mother's 80th birthday.I'm devastated how this important event is now spoilt due to this company lack of customer service.

    NON Destructive scanning please allow 8-12
    business days for the scanning process to complete (or 3 - 5 business

    I placed an order for my book to be scanned last month in May and was emailed that my book had been received and was told that the scanning should be completed in **** business days. It has been long past that and I have recieved no updates or communication from the company since that initial email. I am 89 years old and have cancer so time is an essence when it comes to completing my book publishing project. If I would have known it would be this unproductive I would have never sent in my book to this company. I am so worried because this is my property and if I do not get the service I paid for I would just like my book to be returned to me. I only have 1 other copy. I have called and left voicemails as well and there is no response. I am worried about my health and am leaving the responsibilities of publishing my book to my granddaughter since I am struggling to do so. I need *********** or I need my book to be sent back immediately.
