    Living in rural Michigan we are quite used to dropping cell phone calls if you take two steps. For years there have only been two wireless providers to choose from and the service was decent, not always reliable. Neither company has taken any action to expand in our area but they keep taking on new customers and after a while you notice that your speed is always at the minimum. Mercury Broadband took advantage of the available grants to provide service in rural areas and they came in quick. I am very happy with the speeds I have now at the basic plan which is twice as fast as any other provider and I am also saving $30 a month from the old service. Luke Ross was my installer he was quick and efficient and let me know my all of my options. Our dogs all fell in love with him and he was very accommodating, even let Manny and Libby help him finish the install. (Libby was the acting supervisor barking instructions) Thank you so much for taking the initiative and expanding service options to Michigan's thumb. For all the haters: - do you understand where your tower is and how it works? If you want to live in a less populated area there are some obvious tradeoffs. I am just happy to have some new options and see some companies willing to expand to these limited profit areas. Now if we could just get cellular phone service....

    What can I say... Everyone else on here has stated what I am about to state to some degree. We have had Mercury Broadband for 18 months at this point, I am in a rural location and they were the only option (I researched). Having moved from Colorado Springs, to Topeka and beginning to work remote for my organization, I had to get internet and fairly quickly. Well, fast forward to now and all I can say is my experience with their internet leaves little to be desired. It seemed ok at first but got worse and worse over time. I had called customer service on multiple occasions to simply be given a static IP and told my router needed to be reset. It wouldn't fix the issue, ever! we would lose connection all times of the day and even worse at night. Couldn't stream much and would lose connection at least every 30 minutes during the day when I was working. I even told my boss and she said, you need to get that fixed, your job depends on it. So all that to say, we recently, after 18 months of garbage internet, cancelled (couldn't afford (work wise) 6 more months of this crud). They picked up their equipment and we paid for the last billing cycle even though we don't have their service anymore. No prorate, etc. Ok. Fine. I am just glad to be through with their service. Now they feel the need to have me pay an early termination fee because our crummy internet with them locked us in to a 2 year contract. Their service was unreliable all the time - they have the gall to advertise online, reliable internet - false advertising! As I consumer I do have rights! I am going to file a formal complaint with the BBB for this very reason. We now have StarLink which if you can afford it, is fantastic! I am constantly connected and zero issues. Mercury Broadband has no right to have people sign contracts when their service is sub-par and they know it. That is predatory behavior. StarLink or other service 100% folks! Don't sign a contract with this company.

    Mercury sold us a service and can't provide over 10x less than what we paid for. The only time things work is when a technician comes to the house (3 times in 3 weeks)! And all they can tell me is they have no resolution to the problem after numerous phones calls in a months time! I would not recommend this company to anyone. They're service is absolutely horrible.

    I’ve been with Mercury since February/March of 2023. I’ve had great service and customer service was very helpful and courteous when I needed them. The installers were great too. No problems whatsoever.

    I’ve never had consistent internet service but at least for years they tried and their customer support team was good. Two times now service charges have shown up on my upcoming invoices. I’ve contacted twice for the 2nd charge and not a word back. I don’t know if there’s a new GM, owner or what but it’s horrible. And good luck if you are suppose to get reimbursed when discovered the charge was wrong.

    They charged me a month I don't even have service for and won't return payment. Plus charged me 200 etf when I was told when I signed up that if I move and can't get service at new place that there would be no etf...
