  On my third Jasper Penastar engine for my 2012 Jeep JK. First replacement engine leaked oil, had it replaced under warranty, 2nd engine threw a rod, replaced under warranty. Currently in the process of selling it. Stay away from Jasper people!!

  I purchased a rear differential assembly and when it arrived one of the cover bolts was cross threaded when they rebuilt it, so upon the removal of that bolt it snapped leaving half of the bolt inside of the rear end. They asked me to tap/Ez out the bolts. I said absolutely not. I paid good money and I expect a good unit. Then they said they would send me a replacement unit and it would arrive a week from the call date. I was not happy, but said okay. The promised day arrived and the unit was never delivered. I then contacted them to find out what was happening only to find out that they said it’s not ready yet. To wait one more week. I then waiting another week, the promised date arrived and I still did not have the replacement unit nor any communication from them. So I called again to find out what was happening and they then said it’s still not ready, wait another week! Now on the third week, the 3rd promised day and the unit has still not arrived. Once again, no communication and no replacement unit. They are now telling me another week and that’s not definite. This is absolutely terrible, I have a truck out if commission for 3 weeks now waiting on promised dates that they can not fulfill. And they can not ensure me that it will be ready on the new 4th completion date given either. So now I have a unit that I can’t use and I must just sit around and wait… End of the conversation was, either wait for the unit or get a refund.. no timely manner solution PROD #:******

  Purchased transmission from them and only last 24,000 miles. This is usually a good brand but after this experience will not recommend them to know one. Because I actually sell a lot of there units but not no more. I’ve worked as a manager for the past eight years and have never had a transmission only last 24,000 miles. They will not warranty this transmission cause they say it’s been out of warranty by date. But has no consideration for that it didn’t last 25,000 miles.

  Had a brand new rebuilt Jasper transmission put in a 2006 Ram 2500 transmission lasted 3000 miles they replace the transmission but it is on you to pay to have it taken out reinstalled and all parts they do not reimburse anything other than $50 for fluid so you end up paying $7,000 for transmission and then another $2,000 to have it replaced after it only lasted 3,000 miles terrible transmission and customer service and warranty

  We had a 5.7 Hemi long block installed in our 2014 Ram 1500. We also updated the Hemi with MDS Delete kit. The engine runs great and love the reliability of now having the MDS Delete, no more cam failures. Very happy, keep up the good work Jasper!!!

  STAY AWAY! We have used Jasper engine a few times and have always had an issue. Our last transmission we got from them never worked properly and instead of sending us a new one as stated in the warranty they gave us the run around and made us spend our money out of pocket to try and "fix" the issue. After getting a case # we were told if we sent them the bill with the case # it would get paid. This started in January 2022. Here we are in 2023, not able to get in contact with anyone and out of pocket for labor and parts and still dealing with transmission issues.

  IM ON MY 9TH JASPER TRANAMISSION 2008 f250 6.4l, ALL were WARRANTIED AND THE NEW TRANSMISSION HAS LESS THAN 4K ON IT AND NO REVERSE AND EVERY GEAR IS FORWARD. JASPER IS UNHELPFULL AND DIDNT GIVE ME A WARRANTY FOR THE NEW trans and will not help

  We have installed roughly 6 or 7 Jasper products ( Engines, Transmissions, and Differentials) in the past 8 years. Out of those, only 1 product has actually lasted. All of the others have had to be replaced a second time. The majority of those times, we had to jump through hoops just to get them warrantied. We now refuse to install Jasper products. This company may have made quality products back in the day, but now it is a horrible remanufacturer that is riding on the reputation of what it once was. If they were a newer start-up, they wouldn't have lasted more than a few years.

  WELL JASPER ENGINES SUCKS. 4076 MILES ON A NEW ENGINE AND IT THROWS A ROD. THEY SAY OH WELL. ITS OUT OF WARRANTY. I'LL NEVER BUY ANOTHER PRODUCT FROM THIS " AMERICAN MADE" COMPANY. PAY MORE. SHOP LOCAL AT LEAST YOU CAN LOOK SOMEONE IN THE EYES WHEN THEY SCREW YOU!!!!!!! .

  had a remanufactured 5.4 motor put in truck upon picking it up on first start lifters starting tapping,mechanic dell auto who installed motor try to tell me it was normal,2000 break in period and truck would run smooth and quiet,they kept blowing me off. took it to sheffield auto they replaced drivers side lifters,4 days later drivers side started tapping.sent motor back to jasper,they sent a replacement now having same problems with lifters after 400 miles.they are refusing to cover labor cost for removal of old motor and installation of new motor which has same lifterissues as first motor.
