Bought a 2014 Cummins with a 68rfe , only had maybe 20k miles when I took ownership of the truck, always squelched into 5th and 6th gear ( common known slipping/distorted overdrive clutch pack) I called , they "documented" the issue , fast forward another 20-25k miles, lost 5th and 6th gear, took it to a shop I trust , they tried bargaining with the warranty as it was 21 days over the 3 year period even though I documented existing conditions , I was told a hard no , on my own. Jasper blows. No offer to pay for parts or anything, i local shop in town is willing to fix jaspers trash they rigged together out of my pocket. Might do it myself, if jasper can half *** it, I can do a better job myself .

I had one their remanufactured transmissions put in my F150 on 7/16/2019. It came with a 3 year warranty. 5 days after the 3yr warranty ended and only 21k miles it went out. No coverage under warranty even though the issues started weeks earlier I just could not get to a shop at that moment. Needless to say take any option you have to not use a Jasper product. A high school shop class could put out a better product than these jokers.

Took these guys 10 weeks to get me a motor I ordered, I understand it, pandemic and supply chain issues and all.

But my main complaint I have is they wouldn't take my AMERICAN EXPRESS card.....I told them "that's downright UN-AMERICAN". You would think that somewhere along the way in the 10+ weeks I've been waiting that someone could've mentioned it so that I could be prepared to pay with another form of payment.

I told her I would cut a company check...she quickly interjected.... Certified funds or credit card only..... So needless to say I had to jump through a few hoops to get the engine paid for...NOT COOL !!

Because of that situation , I decided to leave a review, so I go online just now and WOW what a long list of bad reviews for this Company. I always go manufacturer direct (OEM) when I replace engines but due to the age of this vehicle (99 F250) the dealer doesn't have any motors.

All in all in less than happy with the whole situation in general and hoping that I managed to at least get a good motor out of them (time will tell I guess).

I understand it cost a little more to take an AMEX card as I am a business owner also, but it just represents corporate greed to not take a card because of the percentage points..... what a way to say.... "I want all of my money no matter how inconvenient it makes it for you".

If I could give them a ZERO stars i would right now based on that alone....
I only hope that this is a good engine and I don't end up regretting my interaction with JASPER even more than I already do at this point.

Put in a 5.3 class 1 and only last about 2000 miles with low oil pressure. Cam bearing issue. Been setting at shop for 3 months and they claiming they have shortage on the camshaft. Sounds like some ********. Wish i replace it with a original new gmc. Very poor service

Replaced jeep 4.0 engine with reman from Jasper. Started it up. Smoked like it was on fire, didn't run bad though. 10 minutes later smoke cleared up noticeably, 5 minutes after that, developed a slight knock and before I could shut it off, it hammered one real hard time and locked up tight. Haven't inspected what broke on it, I suspect a connecting rod cap came loose and fell off.
