      *** *** *** ***** **** ******** ****** We purchased a home with an existing ADT by Telus system and have been trying for two months to complete transfer of the account. Multiple extended phone calls, on hold for hours at a time and zero results. Their customer service reps run through their checklist and, once they reach a point where there is no further actions, they tell you that they will call you back. They NEVER do. ***** ***** *** **** **** **** ********

      We had Telus/ADT security come to our home, AGAIN to try and fix our cameras due to whatever the NOW issue was, and the technician had to change out a camera again and in doing so broke our garage door. I had to immediately find a company to come out ASAP and fix it so we could close it but it didn't fix the problem entirely and we have been fighting with Telus/ADT for over a year now. We get emails saying it's with the manager (Chelsea) and the legal team and someone will contact you, BUT NO ONE contacts us and we hear nothing. This is typical Telus service, as Chelsea never contacts us back. So when is Telus/ADT going to fix our garage door or pay for a new one? When are you going to be accountable.

      ADT/Telus customer service is a zero. **** *** **** ******* ***** ** ** **** ******. No answers at the customer service number for 3 days. The recording says that the wait is over an hour, but eventually there is no-one there. Then I called their sales department, they answered immediately. go figure! *** **

      After being on hold 3 days in a row for over an hour on the 4th l tried again got through to a representative in the customer l retention area named Fatima who was able to help me quickly while understanding the issues I have been a loyal customer for over 20yrs even with lots of deal out there everywhere ! On that same day got my battery replaced on home security system by a young man with great customer service as well he called to tell me was on his way Got there introduced himself then went In with Covering on his boots Reset my panel and all was good ! Name on my cell was Calvin M. Great customer service from both Representatives on Wednesday August 10th 2022 But wait times extremely LONG where most people can't be on hold while at work for so long Never experienced anything like this b4 Thank you

      They told me if I moved I could continue my existing service with no charge to move to a different address in the same community and take along the program. They wanted nearly $2,000.00 to cancel or pay out the existing contract so I opted for the no cost move of the same program. Now they bill me for $950.00 plus for installing the service at my new address. *************************************************************** ****************************

      Terrible website, Just try paying your bill, takes multiple days and calls payment goes to pending then disappears and shows up due again. leaving a card on file means one will be charged twice when the card on file expires, I first log into the website, end up calling, Be prepared to spend a huge amount of time for simple tasks. I have been told for over a year this will change.

      Had a not nice experience with the door to door sales person. My mom and I share a place in Hamilton, I was at work the other day and a man came to the door, my mom being polite just kept telling him she would take the info and her and I would discuss it to see if it would be something to benefit us. He took her phone number and name and she assumed he was just going to call to follow up if we were interested or not. Instead this guy put through an order without our consent. My mom received a phone call saying the tech was coming the next day, so I called the guy (because whenever my mom tried to call he wouldn't answer his phone) he tried to tell me my mom agreed to it. I flat out told him I know she didn't and he doesn't have our permission to install these cameras. My mom then received a text message this morning saying someone was coming between 8 to 9 AM to install, no one showed up thankfully so I'm assuming it was just an automated message. Then about 30 minutes ago she got another messaged saying they were going to install cameras, I again tried to call to the number that called her but no answer. My mom tried as well and finally got through and told them don't come to install cameras, they said okay. So hopefully this is the last of it. My mom is a senior luckily still has her witts about her, but I can't imagine how many people this person took advantage of who were being polite and saying we need to think about it and then him putting it through as the customer wants it.

      I am writing to share a warning to others regarding ADT by Telus home security systems. My parents lived in the same home in Kelowna since 1967. My mom passed away in September, my dad had a small stroke in January, and has recently moved into an assisted living facility, and is doing well. Approximately one year ago, someone came to their home and sold them a home security system that included emergency pendants. The system has worked well, and they used the system more than once to get medical aid. As dad is now selling his home, I contacted the company to cancel his home security contract. I was informed that their 5 year contract still has 47 months to be paid out in full. While the sale of his house will allow him to pay this out, I want to make others aware - read the fine print and understand what you are signing - I know if my parents had understood this they would not have signed up, as they were already considering moving from their home.

      A rep met me at the end of my driveway as I was bringing in my trash can and would not accept that "I'm not interested". Our conversation was very brief, but I made it clear immediately that I was not interested. He began his rebuttal, and I repeated that I was not interested. He continued to attempt to engage me so I told him "%$^# off, I'm not interested." and went back in my house. He was otherwise polite, he just wouldn't leave me alone and go away. I made sure to snap his picture on my existing security cameras incase he decides to try again. I tried to send an email or do an online chat with them, only to discover that they won't talk to me unless I want to buy something. I can't seem to find a way to actually make a complaint; very easy to buy something though, so it seems intentional that the they make it difficult to actually talk to anybody.
