      September 2023 TELUS ADT Canada is TERRIBLE. Dysfunctional. Ex. Setting alarm by my mobile when departing: most times alarm is NOT on. I have had technicians come to the home numerous times. When technicians spoke on phone, the wait time is overly lengthy, spoke with various technicians, & 1 to 2 hours wasted time on phone with technician most of whom are in Asia, NOT Canada, the problem is not resolved. Waste of money. Waste of time. Use as anorher Home Security provider!!! I called today and no one answered the call. This happens each time I phone lately. The recorded message repeats in a loop. ?? I even tried option 1 which means that the Alarm has been triggered: even then no one answered my call!!! ?? Phone calls are not picked up. There is ALWAYS something wrong with the system. ALWAYS notifications of at least 2 to 3 problems with the system. ADT was GREAT prior to TELUS takeover. Will NOT renew. Waiting for contract to end. DO NOT RECOMMEND. ?? I need security. I have excellent neighbours & we watch each others property. This is far better 'security' than TELUS ADT which is utterly useless. Do NOT waste your money on TELUS ADT Home Security!! **** * Calgary, Alberta, Canada

      I have been waiting for someone to help my elderly mother with her alarm system. Nobody called her to set-up a service appointment as promised by the customer service rep. When I called to ask why? They said her system is outdated. I asked to speak with a manager and made the request. Of course nobody called me and I am still waiting for someone to call to help figure things out. Meanwhile, my mom is still getting charged with an alarm system that doesn’t work and which hasn’t worked in a little while. When the alarm rang once and the police had to go to her house, nobody even called to check up on her from the company! No help whatsoever from this company or follow-up. I am so disappointed!

      Beware. ADT was good before transitioning to *****. Despite suspending monitoring during a home reno they resumed billing me for monitoring at an empty location without active security. Would not return funds and then attempted to ****** payment to cancel services. Will be looking for another provider *** **** ****** ******* ***** **** *******

      The worst security company, I had the smart home system installed at my new house for about a year and a half, the system constantly not working properly, had to contact support multiple times and still couldn’t resolve all the problems. I am going to switch to another company after my contract is up.

      This is the worst customer service that I lived in my life, **** *** *******, they just put you on hold, I had the service with their loyalty department, the rep is Alexandre, I have no clue how they can allow a person to ***** us that way . I am really shocked *** **** ***** ********* *** ***** ** ******. I agree with all the previous reviews, when you FINALLY get to talk to a real person they say they will call back and they never do. We had suspended our service while we were renovating and, at that time, we arranged to have everything reactivated on March 1 and updated including cameras etc. *** ***** ***** **** ***** **** ********* ** ****** *** **** no one came or called on March 1 I called them and was told that the whole service was cancelled, service rep said he would look into it and call back (never did). Called again today and got a very nice lady who seemed to understand the situation and said that someone would call back. A guy did call back but I had to give ALL my info again and when he asked for my driver's license I put the brakes on and told him I was not giving him that information. He said if I didn't want to give him that information I could call back. I told him to cancel the whole thing (I know, it was already cancelled) and we would get a different company to provide our security service. * ***** **** **** *** ****** **** So FRUSTRATING, ***** **** **** ***** ***** ********** *** ********** Never again.

      In order to cancel your security system services you have to call. I've been on hold for 1.5 hours and counting. No end in sight. I cannot cancel any other way and yet they won't answer their phone.

      The ADT transition to Telus has not gone smoothly. ******. They do not check weekly to ensure your alarm is working. They do not verify at all the alarm is working. They just took over the monthly payments. I check my alarm is working on a regular basis. Much to my surprise my alarm is not communicating with Telus since the transition. They will not send someone out and said they do not support my system. Just want to sell you a new system. I cancelled immediately and was all set with a new monitoring service in days. The nee service checks that my system is communicating properly every 4 hours. You cannot trust a system with a company that doesn't even know or care if your system is communicating!!

      Wow! So unimpressed. **** **** *****! Since it was bought by Telus, it went down the drain. I have been on hold for over 90 minutes. They hung up on me at 53 minute mark.
