Our contract is ending and when we contacted Liberty we received excellent service from the Loyalty team, along with the current Boxing Week deal. We have been with Liberty for 5 years and have been satisfied with the service.Liberty Security Systems Inc

We entered a contract for 2 years with this company. Our contract is now up and they are still trying to take payment from us. Telling us we have to pay a monthly fee for a service we do not even have. They are refusing to complete the cancelation and told us if we don't pay they will keep charging us monthly. As we are now going month to month since our contract of 2 years is complete We have called numerous times and they refuse to stop billing us. We also had to put a stop payment on our account because they were double debiting us at one point. We have no service with this company anymore but yet they still are trying to make us pay. Consumers beware. They wouldn't be getting a star if it was up to me.Liberty Security Systems Inc

1 starEasily the worst and most frustrating company to deal with. Signed the contract remorsefully. System wasn't even installed correctly. Ended up not working all together after two months. The contract states they will fix it, but they will do everything in there power to NOT do service calls. Left broken for months. We had a newborn and the unprofessional installation was a real hazard with the exposed chords. Now separated and moved, I'm still paying ******************************************** November.TL:DR Make sure to read the EXTRA FINE print of your contract. Even then, they will do everything in there power to challenge your rights.I also just talked to a rep and she stated "we do not have a system to notify us that our clients' contracts are up. Therefore, we don't "reactivate" your contract, but continue charging you monthly until notified".Make sure to stay on top of your "5-year contract" end date or you will be charged.Review fromDeborah J

1 starI signed up with the company because I bought a home with it already installed, I did sign a 5 yr contract with them to monitor services. I had to sell my home and called them to cancel the service and was told that I was to pay them 34 more months worth of payments I asked them for what I signed for monitoring services they explained my contract was for 60 months so that is what I owe. I explained to them I understand I am canceling and maybe even expected a cancellation fee but to be told that I have to pay ********************************************************************************* within two business days to discuss the issue it has now been five business days and so I called back and the person I spoke to said that there is absolutely no scenario that they will allow me out of the contract they have people that have their house burn down and they still have to pay out the contract, a contract is a contract and cant be broken she said. I explained that in a contract it should say what the penalty for breaking a contract is and I read right through the tiny print and I could not find anywhere where it says I will need to pay the contract out in full I asked her to explain to me where it is and she stated I dont know but it is in the small print. I think the company has a sneaky way of scamming people to lock into these contracts not knowing the penalty I would never have signed a contract for that long if I had known that was what would happen, she said that is all contracts which I challenge I broke my mortgage at the same time with the same months left and my penalty was less then what liberty wants to charge me and all I am doing is paying them to have it monitored I mean my doorbell came has not even been online for six months and they have not even contacted me so how closely do they even monitor. I have requested again for someone to call me who can make a decision as I feel they are just avoiding it hoping I drop it and pay.Review fromElizabeth B

1 starI called to ask about the alert, I was never told that there was a 36 month contract, I agreed to try it. I used it for maybe 5 months. During that time the magnetic clasp would let go because the alert was very big . after several times I called to let them know . Also the alert would go off often any time I even bent over. They said they could fix the alerting problem from their end, Finally the alert fell off somewhere in town one day . I went back to all the places I had been & made them aware . I searched my home as well to see if it had fallen off before I left. I waited awile before I called to let them know. Nothing was said so I just continued to search for it to no avail. I called & they said they would send another one. Meanwhile they kept taking the money out of my account which I was not impressed with. I finally called & told them to close out my account . They then said they would send me a new one to which I replied that I was dissatisfied, as they already knew. Nothing had changed & alert kept going off, etc. I just wanted to find something smaller locally. A couple of months later they called & wanted 3 payments for an alert I did not have. After harassing me more I told them to stop harrasing me, gave them the 3 payments. I told them that I would alert the police. They waited a long awhile , sent another **** which I ignored. Then months later I was sent this **** for over *******. During this time I had been severely ill, was hospitalized over Christmas & almost died.I am now just recovering. They have no mercy. A complete scam! They are threatening to ruin my credit. now if I don"t pay immediately! I give them a no star rating.
