1 starTotal scam …high-pressure sales.. they lied right to my face about my dehumidifier though it cost me ***** was failing and my ***** sump pump was completely shot and that he had changed the filter in my dehumidifier. That was seven years old. I had another contractor come out he said whoever it was trip to circuit breaker on purpose to make it look like your sump pump wasn’t working and he went down to my crawlspace and upped the dehumidifier settings to make it feel like the dehumidifier was also failing… I asked the inspector which we pay **** a year for two inspections a year if he had changed the filter in my dehumidifier he said yes well guess what I say. No the dehumidifier filter was the one from six months ago again another lie ever since JES sold the business from the founders to a corporation. The only thing JS does now is high-pressure high-pressure high-pressure sales I ask the inspector how much would the repairs be? He said ***** I said I have to clear it with my wife he said can you call her now because I’ve held a slot for you this Friday for the repairs and if you don’t do it this Friday you might have to wait once upon months for us to be here to fix the issue. Well, there was no issue my sump pump after the contractor turned. The circuit breaker back one said the sump pump is working beautiful and the dehumidifier after he changed the settings is working beautiful total lies total scam. I’ve since canceled any and all business with JES please heat this review and stay away.Review fromLisa F

5 starsHuge shout out to BRADY SEWARD. What an AMAZING representative of your Company. So professional, kind, friendly and thorough. Please take time to recognize his INCREDIBLE job. I will be sure to request him in the future for my annual inspections. He explained everything, went over what he inspected & his findings. i waited a year after being told that a technician would be back within a few days with an operable laser monitor. I called to speak to the service manager again who was not available to remind me of the date he would be sending a tech out. the receptionist I was speaking to checked the schedule couldn't find my appointment so she said that she would have him call me. that was over a week ago. still waiting.

In May 2924 I contacted JES because I was having a problem with 2 doors expanding and binding which made them unable to close. I have had this problem for the past 15 years They came to my house and I showed them the binding doors and explained the problem to them. They performed a crawlspace inspection and recommended the installation of 2 foundation jacks to remedy the door problem. I believed that installing these jacks would stop the doors from becoming unclosable. I had the Jacks installed for ****** in June 2024. this corrected the alignment of both doors as I was expecting. By September 2024 both doors began binding again. I was quite surprised as I thought the jack installation would resolve the problem. I contacted JES and they sent out an agent who performed a Jack elevation adjustment which realigned the doors. I was told "Don't worry - this is a settling issue". By December 2024, the doors were again binding! I called JES again and they sent an agent to inspect again. This time they told me that the only way to fix the problem was to have a full crawl space encapsulation at a cost of ******** When I told them that I thought the jack installation would fix the problem, they told me that they never said that and that they initially told me that only a full encapsulation would fix it! Both my wife and I were present when we met with JES and we both understood that they told us the jack installation would bring the doors back into alignment which would fix the problem permanently. I feel that I paid for work that was unnecessary. The foundation jack installation did not fix the problem! Now I'm out ****** and my doors are still out of alignment!Groundworks, LLC
