Outright charged me $434 for my daughter’s appointment when my copay should have been $25. I have another daughter who goes to the same practice so I know the insurance is accepted. I also uploaded the insurance twice!!! I have reached out several times to them to get this corrected. 3 times NO RESPONSE.Thriveworks Administrative Services, LLC

I requested a therapist that accepted my insurance for the services they offered and was told I had a match in network. My insurance carrier states on their website that if a provider says I’m in their network, then they will agree to cover the charges. Simple, right? I triple-checked this with both parties. Then I get a surprise invoice well outside of my co-pay. When I contacted Thriveworks billing department, they said my insurance wasn’t active (it was) and that my end date was 3/31 (it was not), so they agreed to correct the information and refund the money. A couple of hours later, I receive 2 e-mails which contradicted one another. The last e-mail stated that the insurance I have is in fact NOT accepted and that I would be switched to self-pay. This was extremely misleading. My insurance company stated they also never received any claims from Thriveworks. It is my responsibility to make sure services are covered, which I did to the very best of my ability, but in the end, Thriveworks did not follow through. This also contributed to a decline in my mental health which is the opposite of what I needed at this time.Thriveworks Administrative Services, LLC

I am so glad I found Thriveworks. My therapist Christin is a gem. She is very insightful and helps me to be the same. It ca be very challenging to find the right fit when it comes to therapy. I always look forward to our sessions.Thriveworks Administrative Services, LLC

I love our couples therapist. She is really good at what she does, is very fair and doesn't chose sides. The style and technique which she uses, helps us meet in the middle and see each side of the problem. I am really grateful as this has helped our relationship tremendously. Great rapport with Lydia. She listens and cares about my comfort and strives to help me reach and achieve my goals. She considers my requests and she explains her approach in an understandable way and leads me toward realistic goals to achieve. She is nonjudgmental which of course is a necessary step toward a trusting relationship between a therapist and client. I am very comfortable with Lydia and am not afraid to discuss any aspect of myself as needed. I am very well satisfied with the care and empathy I receive. It’s always challenging to find a mental health provider that is equal parts empathetic and professional. I don’t typically leave reviews, but when it comes to consumers who are in need of mental health services it’s important to make sure we all have the best understanding of who we’re choosing. Thriveworks billing services for their late or cancellations (even if there is an emergency situation) is gouging. I understand the need for patients to respect the time of their providers, but sometimes unavoidable situations happen. I’m not saying not to use Thriveworks if that’s the best option for you, but be fully aware of their egregious billing practices and fees. I feel charging a late or cancellation fee of $135 if you don’t give 48 hour notice is taking full advantage of a patient.Thriveworks Administrative Services, LLC

I love my therapist- we meet weekly and virtually no complaints here and they bill my insurance so I only have a $20 copay!!! I'm so happy with Thriveworks, and I recommend it to everyone!Thriveworks Administrative Services, LLC
