5 starsWe have had our Safe Step tub for over a year. We have only had one problem in that time - turning off unexpected. The company was contacted and Service (Cody) called me to set up a time. He arrived promptly as scheduled and diagnosed the problem. The replacement parts were received and Cody installed them fixing the problem. Brad and Edwin were very knowledgeable, professional, helpful and creative. They had to be. My home is 115 years old and comes with all the problems of older homes—size of rooms, tons of trim and chair rails and windows and doors. The Safestep was replacing a clawfoot tub, which needed to be removed first, and I needed to keep the ring shower curtain rod for showers. The ring needed to be reversed. Safestep also sent a left-handed door rather than the ordered right-handed door. It was a long day for all of us. Lucky for me, I had Brad and Edwin to rely on. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for the administration end of Safestep. The salesperson was less than honest when it came to the ease of installation in MY bathroom. I was contacted by another Safestep employee to schedule the installation. That was the only time I was contacted by Safestep between signing the contract and day of installation, even though I had left 2 messages asking for a return call. NOTHING! Then, of course, after waiting more than a month for the scheduled install date, they sent the WRONG tub! Fortunately, Brad and Edwin made it work. Brad and Edwin were the heroes here and are the only reason for five stars. The others would not have gotten that many stars! I felt like once I signed the contract, I was not important to them!Safe Step Walk-In Tub
