I have used two of Maxi's locations, Broad St and Dayton Blvd, multiple times. I can honestly say that I am overwhelmed by the quality of their work, the quick turn around of reclaiming my truck and the genuine friendly service. A few years ago I was having emission issues. They took the time to walk me through steps to reset the light on my dashboard so that I could pass. When that would not work, Dominick asked if he could take my car home for the night so that he could try to reset it himself. I agreed and while he did not succeed, he still walked me through more steps to speak with the state so that I could get a one time waver. I was not charged for anything but the initial inspection. Who does that? There are plenty of hacks out there. Dominick, Randy, Brian and Barry are just different and in the best kind of way. I am a Maxin for life!

Greetings, My name is Steven S***** and I am the Director of Operations for Maxi Auto Service Centers. I am definitely third person concerning this complaint, I have never met Mrs. ***** or her husband. That being said , to be completely transparent I will be attaching statements from the Store Manager at our East Ridge location for review. 1) On 5/17/24 Mrs. ***** dropped off their 2015 Audi a4 for an ac check and check engine light was no and making a noise upon start up. W serviced the ac and replaced the engine oil separator " pcv valve" and cleared all codes and test drove car , Wenthe vehicle was picked up no codes were present and vehicle ran and drove fine .Customer called back within the next few days and said the car was doing the same thing and i asked them if the engine light was back on and they said yes so I advised them to bring it back and let us check it out again . Upon arrival we scanned the system and found it had different engine code this time around involving several cylinder misfires . The first time it came in was evap related. We checked car over and found multiple vacuum leaks from the intake and timing cover , the pcv system was clogged badly and was why we replaced the oil separator the first visit and that was more than likely the cause of this issue in the first place but the monitors didn't set codes while the vehicle was in our shop. She was charged 378.22 on the first visit and 744.25 for the next . The customer called back a week or so later with another engine light on so we had them bring vehicle back and checked and it had a cylinder 2 misfire only .We checked plugs coil packs and injectors to narrow down the issue and found a broken valve spring on the intake side the customer was given an estimate and gave the go-ahead to order the part and took the car with them at that point . We have not seen or heard from her since and have since returned the valve spring to Audi . She was never charged anything for the diagnosis the last time in and never charged anything above or beyond what she was quoted 2) Also, the reason it sat here from April to June was he couldn't pay for it. It was done well before June it took him at least two weeks to ok the work and another two to three to pick it up ******* ***** Mr. ***** brought his truck in for an ac issue and a front-end rattle . When he arrived here it was leaking fuel badly and the alternator was not charging at all . We checked the truck over for everything he asked us to and quoted it all to him including replacing the busted fuel lines . He agreed and we fixed what was quoted , the truck would start and run and was not leaking fuel and the ac worked . We advised him when he picked up the truck the steering column was going to need replaced or repaired due the large amount of play in it but he didn't want us to price it . He started the truck 2 dozen times in the parking lot and got the starter hot and was asking if it was a bad starter and we assured him it was not and that the column was the issue and showed him how it needed to be started , you had to hold the steering wheel up and push they key in to start it every time we showed him it was fine and he left with the vehicle. We advised him to have the timing checked as well since we did not address any running issues other than the starter and alternator issues . He did decline some work . We have not had the truck back and are unaware of any other issues and if he had any we would be glad to look and see what's going on but have not heard from him . The truck was running and driving whenit left the property
