      The Trash collectors deliberately do not pick up my recycling! My trash receptacles are placed within 24 -36 inches from my neighbors recycling receptacles/cans! They take my neighbors recycling but deliberately leave and skip ***** This happened again 9/13/24! This is an ongoing issue that has occurred many many times a few years back! Its starting again! I have called the company and the *********************** I am a senior citizen and I dont know why I am being singled out all my neighbors have their trash and recycling picked up! I have never spoken to or had any contact with the worker! I live in a townhouse on a culdesac type drive! This is no way accidental it has happened way too many times before! I want different crew assigned to my route! I want to cancel my service but as a homeowner I cannot!

      In response to the above claim, I have spoken to the Route manger regarding this.  There are several weeks that the driver has stated the cart was not out for pickup.  The normal day for recycling on this street is the red week.  I have tried to call the customer to see where the cart is being placed & make sure it is being placed out on the correct week.  We have several different driver's on this route & don't intentionally miss anyone. I hope to get this issue resolved.

      We have not received service for at least 8 weeks and are due either a refund, a cancelled contract, or simply to have our garbage taken away. First, we are aware that the service provider will only empty the one receptacle and any trash outside of the receptacle will not be taken away. That said, we have had the same load of trash on our curb for the past 8 weeks. We cannot move any more trash to the curb as we are being forced into a bulk pick up fee, yet they won't collect the refuse from the single "municipality-ordered receptacle" on a weekly basis. If they would empty it, We would simply continue filling. They will not provide that opportunity and it has become comically absurd. Upon speaking with customer service and then management, we were told that the drivers will not leave their vehicles and that the waste bin was reported COLLECTED all of the past 8 weeks. This is false and my spouse can corroborate considering she called the provider about this same issue ~6 weeks ago. That said, the service provider was willing to send different men out today in order to tag the bags as bulk pickup only so we would be properly notified. So, they can get out to put a sticker on the can but not to throw the 1lb. oversized gerbil cage away... Furthermore, we were told that it was our responsibility to "properly arrange the refuse" inside of the can so that the grabber wouldn't "over-squeeze." The allows the slippage for proper evacuation. What? Additionally, we were told that it is too dark for them to know if the garbage has fallen out of the mechanism. Literally the entirety job. It seems as though the provider has (a) faulty equipment, (b) a labor training issue, or (c) both. It is not the customer's responsibility to resolve any of these service-oriented challenges. We are owed monies & services. Considering that our trash was not taken for 8 weeks, we believe 8 weeks of monies plus time & materials should be credited to our account.

      I pay for garbage pickup services. They stated my garbage was overfilled so they picked up nothing, took payment for the service and will only get garbage if we pay an additional $35 fee. This is more than the monthly charge. If the cart was overloaded fine take out what is over and leave it however not taking anything for a service they took payment for and then charge a ridiculously expensive fee to come but is unacceptable.

      The customer has a monthly service level of 1-95cart which allows them to put their bags of trash in.  If a customer has additional trash outside of the cart, there is an additional charge.

      Our customer service team had reached out to the customer, due to the fact that his cart has been overloaded several weeks & was tagged by the driver to let them know it was.  

      The driver doesn't wait for the customer to off load if a cart is overloaded.

      We have reviewed the current charge for the extra trip, & it has been revised.

      I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

      Many others in my neighborhood consistently have overfilled containers however they are picked up.  We took photos if necessary.  Wondering why my residence was targeted by this company and not others.  I saw they stated they changed their return fee.  I also would like to know what that is.

       As previously stated the extra charge has been revised. If he would like to know the charge he can call our customer service department & they would be happy to advise of the charge.   When other customers have overloaded carts, calls are made to those customers also.

      trash pickup missed on occasion. but very often do not pick up recycling. when called they say recycling is free and no charge fo that service so no refund. they also say they are understaffed, well its been years and always are they understaffed so its no longer a staffing issue its a bad company that can not do the job or keep employees. the customer support is often rude and dismissive. they have broken bags leaving the mess in the can or on the ground. by not picking up on expected days has caused weather to also blow stuff all over.

      When there is an issue of being missed, we do ask the customers to call in so we can put a work order in to get it picked up.   If they are repeatedly being missed , we make sure the route supervisor addresses it to find out what the issue may be.  I have reviewed the issues on the account & have issued a courtesy credit for that.

      In response to the above claim I have spoken to the Route Manager regarding the service issue for this address. We have had new driver's on this route & have made them aware of any previous misses at this address.  I have issued a credit for 2 weeks which has been applied to this account.  When a customer is missed we do ask they call the office so we can get a work order in to get the missed picked up.  The trash must be brought to the main road on Wylie.  If you need any additional information, please let me know.

      We have sent our bill payment to Vogel garbage disposal company two times and now they are saying that it's our post office that is behind and mail is backed up Vogel has told my husband ******** ****** and I ****** that they do not have enough staffing to handle the mail.? I then explained that we have remitted payment they said we aren't the only people saying garbage isn't being picked up.ans this is becoming a health hazard .we now have mice and rats and the garbage is being torn up and distributed throughout our street from the end of my driveway..it's embarrassing and a detriment to our health..please help.*** *******

      I have spoken to this customer regarding the alleged complaint.  I explained we post payments daily & that the post office has been delayed.  We didn't receive the payment advised would need to pay amount due & if the money order she sent shows up we can refund her.  I advised her to call in & make a payment so we can resume her service.  We have plenty of staff to cover our duties in this department.  

       

      I have reviewed the call with my customer service rep & he advised her correctly.  I let the customer know the call was going to be reviewed.

      On 02/15/2023, a Home Health Aid called to ask for my address to receive garbage service. That's all! She stated that she works for my mother. She was given information about my account billing and called my name by a MALE Vogel Representative. Then, he proceeded to discuss my account and what was owed. The Home Health Aid was not verified, and my information was shared without consent. He didn't bother to even ask her last name before blurting my personal information. There is not an excuse for that, but Vogel should address/train their employees about giving personal information. I was also informed that the MALE Representative for Vogel was quite rude. From past experience, it appears that Vogel assumes things and does not care to have a sense of compassion or professionalism. The billing concern was taken care of the same day and I attempted to request automatic payment. However, you must either print and mail the request form/go into the office to request an automatic payment. It is a bit of an inconvenience but if avoids further incidents, I will do it. If possible, I would like to speak with the Customer Relations Department or higher management as a resolution.

      IN regards to the above complaint, I have spoken to ******* about the issue.  I told her that I went over the phone call with the representative that took the call & used it as a training tool to make sure that you verify all information on the account before talking to anyone.  When the person had called in the information that was told was that the account was not picked up for a certain reason .  I assured her nothing else was discussed & that I have made sure to discuss as a reminder to all my customer service reps to verify all information on anyone's account.  

      We do take pride in our jobs & learn instances like these & why things are important to protect personal information.

      keep sending me false bill for service that was not provided. we did contract for 2 yard dumpster and we got forced for 4 yard dumpster and have to share 4 yard dumpster with neighbored business. we shared dumpster for 5 years and Vogel raise the price to $220.00 plus for 4 yard dumpster so i called and told them we can't pay that much because other company in area was charging between 120.00 and 130.00. Vogel was almost $100 higher for monthly service. They said your contract is auto renewed automatically, which was not signed by me and was never informed by salesmen. Salesmen show me only price and i signed the paper he never showed me auto renewal page and i don't have initial on that page either. How you can force someone when contract was not honored as signed and when i asked salesmen in 2017 that you are putting 4 yard dumpster instead of 2 yard dumpster to help neighbors, in our property we need to sign new papers he said no everything is fine.

      This is in reference to the above case.

      This customer signed a service agreement for 5 years in February 2016, which was an ownership change.  The contract went from 2/01/16 to 1/31/21, after that date it states that the contract will roll over for the next five years without further action from any of the parties.  It is on the back on the contract that was signed.  The customer could have canceled the account before the roll over period if they wanted to do that in writing 60 days prior to cancelling the service.

      The rate they are talking about is not even the rate that the customer was being charged so I am confused where the $120 to $130 came in.  

      If a copy of the service agreement is needed, we can certainly provide one to the customer.  At this time, they have cancelled their service with us on August 31,2022.

      In this past year Vogel has raised their rates without any notification of rate increase. Since the beginning of the year the rate was $51.00 for the quarter and now has ballooned to $87.00 There has been no increase in service. It’s a once a week pick up for 3 bags of trash and recycling/trash on the by-week. That’s $144 with no explanation or increase in services as you can see that I’ve attached. I don’t believe this is fair and there is no other choice since they have bought up all the smaller companies.

      In reference to this claim, first this was a customer that we had acquired from another company.  We kept all customers at the rate they were at for over a year which was extremely low.  We did not increase any of those customer until a year later of which we do notify the customers on the bill that there has been an increase.  Each year we evaluate and may increase at that time.  The service level that this customer is actually on is something we don't even offer but have kept the customers that were at this service the same.  We can do a rate increase & again the customers are notified on the bill when we do that.

      There is no notice of increase, the bill just is just increased without notice. We no longer have a choice for a different company in the area, and vogel is taking advantage of a monopoly since they have acquired the smaller garbage companies in the area.

      My garbage is not picked up at least two or three times a month. I have to call them numerous times to get any action. I also thought garbage and recycling was kept separate, not with Vogel. They dump it all in the back of the same truck.

      Hello,

      There has been an issue with this street being blocked off due to construction the last few months.  We were unable to get down the road only certain times per the crew working on it.  We sent someone back daily to check to see if we were able to get down to service our customers.  

      We don't combine the trash/recycle, we have a truck for each.

      We were told the construction has been completed & we should be able to resume to provide service weekly to our customers & every other week recycling service.
