Contacted company. Advised them about my problem and was assured they could fix it. I even wrote the concern down with my product. They got it. Did nothing. Took my money and sent back broken product I sent them. In the same shape as before assuring me they fixed it. After reading reviews they do this a lot and seem to get away with it. This is a 100% scam of a company.Business Response

I sent in a ECM for repair. I received it back and reinstalled and my vehicle had the same issue. I emailed and called G7 Computers several times to discuss the issue and ask what exactly was wrong and what repair were done with no response. Now I’m having to pay GM to repair the truck.Business Response

We ordered a PCM rebuild on order #****** on July 27th, 2023. The computer was then sent in and returned to us on August 7th, 2023. Nothing was in the package explaining what was done! We plugged in the unit 8/14 and the truck was still stalling like it was before the "repair". I attempted to call G7 several times and always got voicemail. I left 3 different messages and I still haven't heard back to this day (8/21/23). I attempted to live chat but they are offline. I emailed in 2 different times and still haven't heard anything back. My truck needs the PCM repaired/replaced but literally everywhere is out of stock of the item. I found G7 Computers online and emailed them if they worked on my specific part with a confirmation email saying "yes for $225". Other PCM repair companies are charging $1,500+. I sent the PCM to G7 Computers and immediately got an email response saying that it has been repaired and that the unit did not need to be opened for repair. My truck is in worse condition now then it was before I sent in the PCM to G7 Computers. I whole heartily believe, after my anecdotal experience and reading reviews online, that G7 Computers is a well versed scamming company. -My PCM was not opened, nor repaired, and many reviews online say the same thing. -My vehicle is in worse condition after receiving my PCM back from G7 Computers -G7 Computers only charged $225 to "Fix" my PCM in 1 day, whilst others charge $1,500 with a lead time of 2 weeks. I should have known it was a scam just from the cost and timeline perspective I have uploaded email correspondence, receipt, online reviews, as well as the part I am needing that no one has in stock. I sent a transmission cobtrol module to g7 computers for repair. They claimed they fixed it, it was not fixed. I was offered a refund or to send it back I opted to send it back. **** confirmed it was delivered he second time June 20th and after 7 days of no response i reached out to them. They claimed they had it but had no info which I had sent by email in the thread which I used to inquire on its status. They then claimed I had not paid which I had and have attached confirmation through my banking app. They've been unresponsive though I've emailed and tried their phone line which always go to voice-mail. At this point i feel like they're intentionally being difficult and essentially holding my $3500 computer module hostage. My vehicle is inoperable without the unit and I just want the repaired unit back.Business Response

A couple of weeks ago, I mailed in a computer for a '94 ***** ******, as they advertise car computer repairs. I said the car starts and I can drive it forward and backward a little then it shuts down. I included a money order for $225. Their website reads: "Current Special: Free Testing (if no faults are found then you get a full refund)". They returned the computer to me on Monday - there was no paperwork in the pack, nothing, just the computer. I re-installed it into the car, and there was no improvement. I have tried calling them, and the phone doesn't pick up. I tried live chat but got a message that their system was down. I would like a refund as the repair was not performed. We originally sent a TCM in for a repair along with a check for $225 (the advertised price to cover the repair) in September 2022. We received the repaired part on September 20th. The repaired part came back and was installed in the vehicle and began to show error codes. I reached out to G7 via email on September 26th to let them know it did not work(I tried to call several times, but they don't answer the phone). On September 27th they responded they should be able to fix it and if they can't they will issue a refund. The TCM was sent back for further repair on October 5th 2022. It came back to us and was installed into the customers vehicle and it did not work, part was not repaired. We asked for a refund on November 22nd and got a response on November 23rd saying check was mailed. However, weeks went by and no refund was received, so I wrote back on December 20th and was told that the check was mailed. Then on January 3rd 2023 another manager reached out on the status of the refund and they replied that they did not see a refund issued to us. I emailed back immediately stating that I have documented proof that they had said they sent a check and I would contact BBB if I did not see a refund in a timely manner and they replied, "I am so sorry. I will make sure you get the money and send the check out right away. So sorry. Thanks." Than on January 23rd I emailed once more asking for a tracking number for the check. Then on January 25th they replied stating there is no tracking, but they could send out another check with tracking number; I responded please send another check with tracking. Now it has been over a week and I have not seen a check. I do not know if it was ever actually sent and I have no way to track the check because they never gave me a tracking number. I have a customer that needs to be refunded and I can not do so until I get my refund.Business Response

I mailed my cars ECU along with the cars VIN #, a description of the suspected problem with the ECU & a money order (filled out to be payable to G7 computers) in the amount of $275 & the address where I wanted the ECU returned, to G7 computers on 20 Dec 2022. On 04 Jan 2023 I sent an email to G7 computers inquiring about my ECU (have they received it or not), after getting no response from calls to the company & leaving voice mails & getting no response. Later on the 04 Jan 2023 I received an email from the company asking for the tracking # of my package. I answered by emailing the tracking # to them. About an hour after sending the tracking # I got a package from UPS. It's my ECU in a box with no paperwork or anything, no information at all. So after calling the company again and again getting no response, I sent several emails asking about what happened, was anything done to my ECU, was there anything that needed to be done, etc. Still, no response. I took the returned ECU to the shop where my car is and was told that the ECU had absolutely nothing done to it. To this day I can't get any response from the company, through their company phone number or through emails. Please help me to get my ECU fixed or at least a refund.Business Response
