      On November 16, 2024 I made an appointment with abstract enterprise security systems between the times of 8-10 am. Unbeknownst to me the tech called before coming and did not ring my bell which what I was expecting. I reached out to the tech and he said he will not be coming. In dire need of this service I reached out and a new appointment was made, as I had questions about the product and how it could help me. The original tech named ******** was rude unprofessional and decided to cancel the new appointment decidedly made by the company. I was then treated poorly by the owner ****** who, stated that I was harrassing only for being in need and standing up for myself.

      Abstract Enterprises has not given me a receipt for the service that was paid with a down payment of $550. Final payments was $650 in cash and no receipt to this day.

      We are a thrift store located in Brooklyn, **. We signed a contract with Abstract Enterprises in spring of 2022 to install 16 security cameras in our store. Our contract included a NVR that could hold 2 months of recording time. After they installed the cameras, I asked if the recording time worked, and they said I would see it after some time had passed (as in, obviously, it wasn't going to show footage from before the cameras were installed, so I would have to wait two months to confirm that it worked). Because the work seemed finished, I paid them what was on our contract, which was $7,600. However, after about 3 weeks, I saw that it did not record past about 10 days or so. I reached out to them to ask them what happened and if they could fix it. To this day, it is still not fixed. I have texted and called them repeatedly, but usually get no response. If I call them enough times in a day (intentionally trying to bug them and get a response), they would say that they would come on this or that day, but then not show up (they've done this multiple times). They have accused me of micromanaging (when I called them twice in a day after not calling in a few weeks) and have since blocked my number so I cannot get a hold of them. I have months worth of texts to show their nonresponsive behavior. I want them to come and fix our NVR and give us the service we paid for in our contract.

      At this time, I have been contacted directly by Abstract Enterprises Security Systems regarding complaint ID ********, however my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

       After filing the report, Abstract Enterprises promptly called to "resolve" the issue. They adjusted the appropriate settings, which was supposed to fix the issue. We have not touched any settings on the system since. As of last week, however, we can see that the system still only holds about 21 days of recording, rather than the two months stated in our contract. Therefore, the issue is not actually resolved. Additionally, we lost the audio recording which we had prior to them "resolving" the original issue. We have not communicated directly with Abstract about either of these issues since the last BBB report was filed.

      January 18, 2022 I had cameras install on my home. On August 24 I contacted the company that one camera was not working. To date they have not repaired this camera after several tries and phone calls. They are now refusing to make the repair and advised that they would refund the money for this camera - That has not been done to-date.
