I seen them safely take down a neighbors tree awhile back. Their safety seemed their number one priority so this is why I leaned towards them. They treated me well tanner the arborist was more than helpful. I called on Wednesday and Friday the work was completed.

Avoid this company if you want any honesty at all. We had a signed proposal for tree work that was delayed by their equipment issues for quite a while - okay, stuff happens. Then a week before the new date, the owner/general manager (Bill W.) emailed saying the project foreman and our point of contact was no longer with the company but that our proposal "remained intact" and we were still on the schedule. But at 5:40 p.m. the evening before the work was scheduled, the new foreman (Andrew W.) called and said they couldn't do the work for the price quoted, and wanted more money as it wasn't fair to them to lose money on the previously agreed to proposal. Note that their original bid was only about 7% lower than other estimates we got. This is either incompetence or deliberate bait and switch, and if their signed documents aren't any good who knows what else is wrong behind the scenes.

If you check our other BBB, Facebook, and Google reviews, you'll see we're doing overall great work with good crews safely and cautiously, but we do sometimes make mistakes. - In this instance, with our Operations Manager's (Andrew) and Crew Leader's job-planning-visit and re-assessment, we were not in position to safely complete the work as proposed, so we honestly and directly admitted the mistake and mutually agreed to move forward. Our process had a gap that we have since resolved, and I apologize for the inconvenience.

I would not use or recommend this company.
After written agreement in April for removal of tree and stump grinding for $500.00, the company no-showed on several dates they said they would do the work. On my 4th attempt to get them to do the work, Dave ******, the owner told me they would not honor the agreement we had, but that the price would now be $750.00 for tree removal only with no stump grinding. Dave ****** claimed they had the wrong address although the correct address is on the accepted proposal and on several emails back and forth. Seems like either a bait and switch or lining up too many contracts and then ignore our agreement to focus on the ones for more money.

I apologize for the mis-set expectations, but our Sales Arborist did go to the wrong address and provided a proposal which was inaccurate in scope, description, and location. - He bid removal of a "red bud side yard by chimney," when your Red Bud is east of your driveway. It was an honest but weak mistake for which Dave made good faith attempts to reconcile for the correct tree at the correct address, but no resolution was reached. Additionally for accuracy: Dave is not the owner (and he is no longer employed with us). I'm sorry we couldn't mutually agree on an equitable resolution to help with your tree project.

The "good faith attempt to reconcile" was instead of cutting and stump grinding for the contracted price $500, Monster would cut the tree down ONLY with NO STUMP GRINDING for $750. The correct address is clearly on the written proposal. They are great at excuses but refuse to stand behind their written agreement.
