Terrible rude service. Hansen came out to repair our AC and didn’t not do it successfully the first time. We had to schedule a second visit to have them come out again… We had a scheduling conflict and needed to reschedule the second apt. They were extremely rude and said the ac was fixed when they left less than 24 hours before… not possible as it never cooled after they left. I would avoid them at all cost and hopefully the home warranty drops them.

This homeowner was serviced and a part was replaced on his older unit.  The home warranty requires us to attempt to repair any unit before it can be replaced.  We attempted the repair and the unit was blowing cold and the Freon was fully charged when we left.  The homeowner is setting the thermostat to the 60s when it’s 90 outside.  Residential hvac equipment can only cool 18-20 degrees cooler than the outside temp.  We booked him an appt within 12 hrs of his work order being opened because we are timed by the home warranty.  Apparently he is some type of doctor and notified us two hours before his appt that he needed to reschedule due to surgery.  We advised of the cancellation policy and he got very disgruntled basically stating because he was a doctor he was more important than our time or other employees and wanted to be rebooked the next day which we were already full.   We cancelled his work order with no charge this time but advised we would not be able for service him again because of his behavior.  When it’s 90 degrees outside having ac can be a life and death issue.  We cannot simply rebook someone after a whole day has been mapped out and our techs route planned which is why we charge for same day cancellations.  It’s unfortunate this homeowner thinks he should have priority for return service but also be able to cancel on a whim putting our business at a major disadvantage.  There’s nothing more we could’ve done.
