DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! I hired them to install wall anchors in one wall in my basement. It was a nightmare. The installation crew installed the wall anchors incorrectly and they refused to fix them. I noticed that the wall anchors were installed 3 to 6 inches in the wrong spots according to the plans and engineering report. I mentioned this to the crew leader and he told me quote "they usually just install them about chest high." (a very exact measurement) When I mentioned the plans for the job and engineering report he said quote "I haven't even seen these." They installed them without consulting any plans, engineering report or even measuring or snapping a chalk line. I had the city inspectors come out. They took the measurements and forced american waterworks to have the current locations reviewed by an engineer to ensure that they are structurally ok. Of course the engineering company, rice engineers, who american more than likely spends hundreds of thousands of dollars a year with signed off on it. This being in spite of the fact that the anchors are not installed within the acceptable limits of the manufacturer, Geo-Lock. When I tried to address these issues with upper management, I got a different person every time and was treated very rudely with the attitude pay or else. They would not admit any fault at all and refused to move the wall anchors to the proper location. The crew left a huge muddy mess and did very little cleanup. It took my us 4 hours to clean up their mess. My basement is unfinished. Imagine what they would do to a finished basement. I am a local contractor and have been in business in the local area for more than 20 years. I have never seen a less professional company. I will never hire them again and will vociferously try to convince every contractor, real estate agent or anyone else I know to not hire them. Do not be fooled by the positive reviews. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY UNDER ANY CONDITION

Deb P American Waterworks repaired our cracked and uneven driveway. The representative did a wonderful job explaining the work that needed to be done and spent the time to explain how the uneven sections would be evened out and the material they would use. Waterworks kept us well informed on what we needed to do to prepare for the technicians and worked within our schedule. The first step in the process was to thoroughly clean the driveway and put a sealant on. Unfortunately, it rained a couple hours after the sealant was put on and it washed away. Waterworks came back and reapplied the sealant at no extra charge. All the service technicians were very kind and explained everything that they did. They had us approve certain steps as they were completed. We really appreciated them being on time and giving us a 15 to 20 call before arriving so we could prepare. Everything was cleaned up before they left. We were extremely pleased with American Waterworks.American Waterworks

AWW did a whole basement water abatement project in our basement in 2008. Our basement had been cycling between damp and wet since its construction in 1957 by the original owners. AWW delivered on all they promised. They offer a 100% guarantee of a dry basement or they will return to make corrections at no cost. Twice in the past sixteen years very small amounts of water has seeped through tiny cracks in the concrete floor. Both times they dispatched service technicians to add additional drainage lines under the floor at no charge. Everyone from AWW we have encountered has been pleasant and extremely professional. The service technicians call before arriving, arrive on time, work hard and fast and clean up before they leave. We are extremely pleased with AWW. They absolutely do what they promise to do. We recently had 2 of our basement walls anchored by American Waterworks. Emmanuel, the project lead, and his team were very friendly and courteous. They worked very hard and did a good job. They also cleaned up well after themselves before leaving. We were very satisfied with their work.American Waterworks

They had a fancy engineer come out design the system to prevent water from coming into our basement yet are basement is still flooding. They came out to look at our problem and thought we should pay more because they screwed up. Now I have a wet basement and no way to fix it without tearing down everything! I highly disapprove of the company save your money! Find someone else! Will be posting on yelp and other places of the disapproval.American Waterworks

During our initial inspection, recommendations were made by our Design Specialist to complete the perimeter system. You chose to do a partial waterproofing system at that time. Subsequent visits by our Service team have resulted in the same recommendation, to complete the perimeter where water intrusion continues. Our management team is aware of your concerns and are more than happy to work with you to resolve them, however our professional recommendations remain the same.

The crew came in and had it done before I knew it really started. They did exactly what I was told they would do by the supervisor. I wish I had made the decision year ago to have the triple safe system put in!American Waterworks

I got 3 bids for a radon mitigation system. 2 were each just above $2000 and Am Waterworks was $20,000 with no real difference in the proposed work. Plus the Waterworks person they sent from Rochester all the way to us in St Paul said he had to consult with colleagues about how to design the system. I chose a local radon specialist.American Waterworks

Very happy with the end result and my driveway is level and cracks are all filled in. They arrived a 1/2 hour earlier than planned and called me ahead of time. Very nice, efficient job and pleasant people to work with from the initial estimate to the completed product.American Waterworks
