We had **** and Wisper is so much better and cheaper. We had a power outage do to an F1 tornado and of course lost our internet. Wisper kept us updated on getting our internet back and running. **** never did that.There service men were very kind and knowledgeable. Explained everything to us and was very helpful. Would give Wisper 5 stars but want to see how things go in the next month or so. Right now they are so much better than what we had. Would recommend them.Wisper ISP

Watch out for the bait and switch rates. And extremely poor billing and customer service associates. I have never been so disappointed in a company who sent me a flyer in the mail with a web site with special rates and then won't honor them because I am already a customer. Good reason not to be your customer is what I think and honestly being a quarter mile from your tower I should be able to get the speed I am paying for which for some reason you cannot provide. Terrible and if I could give you a zero that would be your score.Wisper ISP

1 starSimply put - HORRIBLE. We are in a very small community and options for internet service are very slim. In no way should we need to put up with the awful **************** and response times to fix the internet issues. Our dervice has been out since Thanksgiving (Thursday) and still out through the following Monday. Every day the same song and dance and no resolve. Finally a service appointment was given for Monday and had a no show. Called them to ask why they did not show and was told we were not scheduled for service on this day. Even have an email stating we did but nobody showed up and was told they did everything they could to see if anyone was available to make the service call and was told they had no one available. I asked three separate times to speak with someone with authority and each time placed on hold and a few minutes later each time it was said no one was available. Never did I get to speak with that person of authority. Asked for a call back when someone became available and I am still waiting. A reschedule for Tuesday was made but I have no hope at this point that this will happen either. Needless to say we still have no service and I am livid. Several days down, repeated calls and still no service. What is a person suppose to do?? Make it known and write a bad review..Review fromKim D

1 starawful experience. In a rural area and told by sales person (*********) that the internet service provided through them would work just fine in my area without a problem. Technician ******* was scheduled between 8-12 and did not communicate to let me know he would not be here until past that time. showed up around 3, hesitated to do his job and I had to contact ***** to explain the situation who was going to get in touch with the manager, then when ******* completed testing that i wasnt aware of needing to be done i was told that he couldnt get a strong enough connection to provide us with internet services after wasting my entire day. Would definitely NOT recommend this internet company to anyone. Lack of communication and information. False information that we are within internet range of service and taking my card information upon setting up my service date to be charged for services when it wasnt guaranteed nor mentioned to me that there was testing that needed to be done prior and the chance of not having internet access.Review fromHeidee W

1 starWhile everyone seemed knowledgeable and friendly on the front end, getting our service up and running after installation has been a nightmare! Service was out within 2 days of installation and after 1 1/2 days and multiple phone calls, it was discovered that someone failed to activate our account - great! We think its fixed and good to go, but nope!! 2 days later, no service again but this time it is a hardware issue and they dont have a technician to fix it for 6 days!!! With a work from home job and a home that relies on internet service to do most things, including watching tv - a 6 day stint of no service is not acceptable customer service. I have made numerous calls to try and get the issue resolved more expeditiously but to no availso far, we have had Wisper for 11 days, but have only had service for 4 ?? So beware!!! If you dont need reliable, consistent internet access and good customer support, then this may be the company for you, but for us this has been a nightmare and a total time and energy **** on top of the complete inconvenience and inability to work from my home office. Internet is now a household utility and not a luxury and if youre going to provide such a service, you better have the man power to service issues in a timely manner!Review fromSarah O

1 starIf you would have asked me a month ago, I would their internet speed was great. We waited over a month for them to hook up our service. Maybe a year later one of the radios went out. We waited a full week for someone to come out. Less than two weeks later we are without internet again with NO eta. The truck has been in the shop since last Friday morning and they still cannot give us an eta. No internet for us is no TV, next to no phone or text capability, etc. Internet is a utility, not a luxury. Why cant they rent a truck? Nope, they cant do that. The service makes me want to leave and go to a company with worse signal, but at least they can service their customers.Review fromLacie S

I have had Wisper internet for 10+ years and their service and support within the last 2 months has been horrible. I cant use my internet at all. I can only connect 1 device to the Wi-Fi and even then the connection is very poor. I have called and asked for a tech to come out and check my connection and was told that a ticket was created for my account and someone would return my call its been 4 days and I havent gotten a call and no one has been out to my house. I have asked for a refund for the last bill that I paid because my revise hasnt worked since then and they tell me that I have an open ticket and I should be receiving a call back. Again no one has called. They are ignoring my request for a refund and ignoring my ongoing ticket Im horrified that Wisper has gotten this bad and are blatantly ignoring there customers!!!!Wisper ISP

I have been with Wisper for 20+years. Have really noticed how poor their co nection and service was since working from home for the past 2 years. Have had really poor connection for past 2 weeks and keep getting told it is 2 clients on the tower that are causing problems for me and others. Yet allows those two clients to continue to cause the disruption for weeks now. Most employees their seem to not worry about taking care of their clients, as no one ever can resolve an issue, it is always a "bandaid" they apply. If we had an option of other internet services, i would definitely be looking i to it.Wisper ISP

1 starWhile it is difficult to quantify the monetary impact, the quality of service provided by Wisper Internet to my home over the past three years has been utterly unacceptable. Constant outages (at least one every other week) and time to resolve (without a premise tech visit) are BY FAR the absolute worst i have encountered compared to ANY other service provider, at any location I have lived that had residential internet; that list includes, ***** ********* *** ***** * *************. These claims may be seen as an opinion since i am not providing service outage notifications, e-mails with the business or other attached supporting documentation but please, DO NOT USE this company unless it is literally your only option...as it generally is since they prey on the underserved rural areas. Without government subsidies and funding programs, this company would have been out of business years ago. I just want to warn people who may be suckered in by their hollow A+ rating, which i realize isn't accredited, but still very misleading.Review fromChristian R

Very fast internet speeds. Get a little over what I pay for. Seemingly some people have an issue with their service by the reviews I read, but in the area Im in the fiber internet provider seemingly is a lot worse than they are. So Im very impressed and wanted to give them a shout out.Wisper ISP
