    Was very upset about this platform. I worked many years ago to be a top tutor there. I had unintentionally broken a rule that their own STAFF did not know was a policy violation. As a result, my profile was removed after 3-4 months of tutoring. Within that time span, I billed over 400 hours and was a top tutor for the region. I'm leaving this review just to express my disappointment. Some people make mistakes and you should actually talk to the tutor before abruptly terminating the account. I wound up making my own business with my own clients and billed over ***** tutoring hours this year and ***** last year. Thank goodness I built such a good book of business on my own. It took a lot of work but I was able to do it. If Wyzant hadn't deactivated my account, I would have been the top tutor for my speciality in the nation and they could have kept the 25%. I reached out to customer support various times over the years to no response.

    If you want tutoring service this is not the place they make you leave a credit card even just to look for a tutor. If you ask questions about the tutor and there background on the subject and be specific about what you need tutoring service for the company accuses of breaching terms. I simply said I didn’t want lessons I wanted tutoring for one test that I all I needed help on. I didn’t want a bunch of lessons I was just having trouble in one specific area the company accused me of waning to cheat on my test which is ridiculous. they have rude practices if you don’t want a bunch of lessons then you can’t get any help and they will deactivate your account they are useless and there tutors always want a full lesson plan. a total waste of time iff you are struggling in one area of a subject do not deal with this company it’s a sham to get your money to pay for unwanted lessons.

    I am constantly bombarded with tutors who only do online tutoring. I have explained this over and over again. To request a tutor Wyxzant insists you leave a credit card on file. Then all these tutors who only do online tutoring began to send emails. I made an appt with an in-person tutor to find out they will only meet with you at a coffee shop and the other could only meet with you after they get off their full-time job after 7 pm. I realized I am not seeking to get a tutor on their terms and convenience. So I canceled. tuesday 16 Aug 2022. But I still have not gotten a confirmation of my cancellation. Wyzant has no phone to be contacted and They will not allow you to remove your credit card information from your created Wyzant dashboards to make matters worse Wyxzant will instruct you to work out any issues that you encounter at Wyzant with the tutor. I want my credit card information removed from their Website. They are very shady and hold on to your credit and will not allow you to remove it. They appear desperate and will definitely ***** up a reason to charge your credit card.
