      Currently using Shred-It / Stericycle for medical document destruction. We signed our contract in January, received our bins in February, and have been scheduled for an every 4-week pickup. We are not able to adjust our service pick-up schedule, we cannot connect with a representative who can explain why we are not being billed or receiving any invoices, and have not received adequate help even after reaching out repeatedly. We will be ending our service.

      Worst experience ever!!! I called in February to schedule our shredding. The person I spoke with immediately sent over a quote, which I signed and returned. At that time he told me that someone would contact me within two weeks to schedule. Around mid-March, I hadn't heard from anyone, so I called back. The girl who answered (I believe in *****), stated that I had an appointment for April 24th. I told her that no one ever contacted me about it, so I was glad I called because we had to bring the boxes up from the basement before they came. So, on April 23rd, we carried the 31 legal-size banker's boxes up from the basement to our lobby. April 24th came and went and no one called or showed up. The following week, I called back a woman (I am assuming the same woman from ***** by her accent) then tells me that we are scheduled for May 26th. At which point I tell her that we had to carry all of those boxes up, so I need to confirm that this will be the date, because we will have to take them back downstairs and bring back up since it's a month away. She assures me that we have a pick-up scheduled for May 26th. So May 25th, we bring all 31 boxes back up. NO ONE SHOWED UP on May 26th. I called them again. At this time she states that she will have someone from the local office call to schedule. It is not June 3rd and I have yet to hear from anyone. Today I contacted a different company. They will be here on Wednesday to pick-up the boxes to be shredded. I will NEVER use this company again or recommend them to anyone!

      Worst service, We started using Stericycle for bio waste pick up, they showed up once to drop off bins and never came back on the scheduled dates. they still billed us for services not rendered of course. I have had countless phone calls and emails to get this fixed and nothing had changed. I finally cancelled in April 2024 but I have recevied another bill..... this company is robbing people.

      Booked an in-home collection in ******** for 20 Files to be collected from the side of the house and reassured that it could be done with their trolley.I waste a day waiting, he turns up an hour late, gets out of his truck, no Hi, just sour face & walks to the basement, tells me he has to take this phone and disappears.15 minutes later I walked to his truck, he was sitting in the driver's seat and lowered the window when asked what was going on. He says I cannot do it, I have a bad Heart!!Why would Shredit employ this OAF, who thinks he is doing me a favour? If he has a heart issue he should get a desk job or better seek benefits, instead of inflicting his anger on customers. Could there be a racial preference too? It will be strongly denied of course.!Would ANYONE want to deal with this firm?

      Terrible service (Shred-it) I have ever encountered. I won't recommend to anyone. Called 5 times and each time cost me an hour to tell them what's going on (called them to pick up about 10 boxes of paper and closed out the account, they picked up the bin without picking up 10 boxes of paper). Called them to pick up and we would pay the fee, no one showed up. Calls after calls, month after month, still nothing happened. After closed out the account, called a one-time service. Was quoted for $335 for 3 large totes, got a bill for $734 ($335 for 1 large totes, $110 for additional tote, surcharges $180). I swear I will never use Shred-it service again. NEVER!!!!!!

      Terrible customer service. They call and never say a word on the phone. WHen they do decide to talk they don't listen and still try and collect for service they didnt provide. I have a set schedule of every other month. I work out of my home and they show up every month and expect to get paid for a service they did not perform. When you call the local office they claim someone will call you back and they never do. I would certainly tell anyone who asks NOT NOT NOT to use them.

      Absolutely atrocious company to deal with. Steer clear from them. Billing is absolutely horrendous, Overcharged me for months, said they were going to refund, that never occured, now they are sending bills for services yet again. Account reps are horrible to deal with. Literally, stay far away from this company!!!

      Horrible customer service. We have made several payments. sent proof of the payments made on our credit card but the account never gets credited. they have sent us to collection now even with the bill paid with several tickets, escalated tickets. They use their calming voice and say they will escalate your ticket. Over a month with this nonsense. Our service is suspended while they research our payment made. Meanwhile, no shred pickup. Our account rep is no longer our account rep and you are stuck with their customer service team located in whatever location obviously not local. I am not sure if this company has gone through new ownership or just decided to rip off the consumer. Watch ever bill you pay. Never assume they have credited your account properly even months later your payment will disappear. DO NOT LEAVE COMMENT please contact customer service team. you all are a joke. Starting a dispute with our credit card company

      DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Their customer service is terrible. We hired them for a one-time shredding and they set us up for once a week pick **** I kept contacting their rep to cancel and she kept saying yes I'll cancel, but never did. In the meantime they kept coming and we kept getting charged for $2,000.00 a month. When I finally got a hold of someone to cancel, we had already paid $26,000.00 to this company for absolutely NOTHING! They only credited us $8,000.00 after I had emails showing proof that I had requested to cancel and that I was told it was cancelled. Then they had the nerve to tell me I can set up on call service for the future. We bought our own commercial shredder. They are definitely shady.

      I don't even understand how this is such a well-known and popular company. I reached out to schedule a one-time shredding service and it took almost a whole month for them to even SCHEDULE me (as in even contact me to set up a pickup time, not to just wait for the service) AFTER I paid! I reached out multiple times after handing over my company credit card information and not ever did someone reach out to me and schedule a pick. And yes, this is something they are supposed to do on their end. I eventually called and got it scheduled, but vowed to not use the company again. Some ** manager reached out to me and gave me some excuse, so I decided to just make it simple and reach out to them a few months later when I needed the service again. I figured it was a one time flop and since a manager contacted me about the issue, also figured it would be corrected going forward... WRONG. Dead wrong. Again, I've handed over credit card information and still have not heard from "scheduling" and it's been almost three weeks. I even called the ** number and spoke to someone and she STILL couldn't just schedule it herself. I was again told that someone would reach out to me. Obviously that still hasn't happened. The company is screaming SCAM.
