      Terrible customer service! After reading a few of the recent complaints I see mine is nearly the same. I am being charged $600 and have not had the totes 30 days yet. My account was made "recurring" when I clearly asked for a 1 time service. I even have email confirmation of this and they still are charging me ! They are saying someone came for pickup, but we did not schedule pick up and no one saw a truck come to our business. Now I cannot get them to come and shred on site and take the ******** not engage with these people...

      I no longer work for a company that used this service. Instead of taking me off their contact list, I get repeated emails to use their service. I do not live in the area. Given how they do not respond nor comply with my request, I have no reason to refer them to anyone. I've reported them to the ***. Next, I will reach out to the state government to file harassment charges. Tell your sales people to stop harassing people for services that are not needed.

      If I could give 0 stars I would. I work at a law firm and they are absolutely the worst company I have ever dealt with. They are truly deceitful and charge for service that is never received. I would not recommend them to anyone, ever. Four times now we have been billed for services we did not receive. When we finally cancelled their services, it took them a month to pick up the console, which was completely empty. They then sent us a bill for $269.10 for a regular service pick up, plus recycling fees and gas and $90 for the removal of the empty console. Absolutely ridiculous. We found a new shredding company who are wonderful and cost less than have the price for the exact same size console and monthly pick up.

      Terrible company. Charged me for services they did not provide. Said they came out to collect items to shred and I wasn't there, but they never actually showed up. I actually saw them at a neighboring building on a collection day and waited for them to come in and collect mine, but they just drove away. I canceled my contract with them, called and asked to pay everything I owed them, and now received an invoice for another $200+. They only collected my shredding once during the six months I was with them.

      This is a nightmare service for businesses. Our nonprofit has used their pick up shredding service for at least 9 years. Starting around late 2019 and continuing up to this moment (July 2024), they've been impossible to work with for pick *** in downtown ***********. An account manager told me they never no-show or reschedule. I can count at least 8 times in the past 4 years that they failed to show up for one of our 6 yearly pick ***. You'll sometimes receive an email saying they're coming and sometimes you won't. They'll cancel your service the day of or email you the day of to say they'll arrive, leaving you no time to plan and then you'll be charged for a pick up anyway which will take MONTHS and hours on the phone to have removed from your bill. **************** and the local dispatchers have zero communication between them, so it's pointless to try to do anything through the portal or over the phone. Every call to customer service will be at least 30 minutes if not longer. In April 2024 I was promised by an account manager that all the problems were solved, but they only managed one pick up before the problems reoccured with them arriving unannounced a month early for our next pick up. I cancelled the service on July 8th, 2024 and was told that someone would be in touch within a week to pick up our bin. No one ever contacted us. On July 24th, I received an email saying we had a document purge pick up scheduled for July 26th. I had to spend another ***************************************************************** it was a mistake. They then mentioned that someone would be coming the next day, July 25th to get out bin. No one has EVER communicated with us about that and no one will be in the office which I told the representative. They countered that that's the day someone will be in our service area, as if I should be accommodating them after years of this disaster. I'm now supposedly waiting on a call from yet another rep to sort it out.

      Tried to give 0 stars but the site wouldn't allow it. Terrible to work with. Doesn't show up on pick dates scheduled and then charges you when they come on a different date without notice and no one is there to let them in. Overcharging and will not respond to emails regarding this. They reference contract language with a different company than the one they are actually charging for these fees. I see their response to bad reviews is the email that I have been using for months without a response back. Save yourself a headache and don't start with them. And if you do, read the fine print that includes a 5 YEAR contract.

      I have been chasing this company for almost $400 in credit that they have owed my account for almost 3 years. Their billing practices are almost criminal. My next step is to file a complaint with the Attorney General. I can't get my account rep to talk to me all in regards to this, she pushes me off to billing. I can never speak with the same person in billing and I am told something different by every person that I speak with.

      OUTRAGEOUS SURCHARGES OVER AND ABOVE THEIR WEBSITE FEE SCHEDULE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!CHARGED OVER 37% OVER AND ABOVE THE ALREADY HUGE COST. Just 14 small banker's boxes cost $513.79 to shred with $133.32 of that in surcharges.

      My company used Shred-It/ Stericycle they currently have been owing us a refund for over a year going into 2 years now and refuse to send out the owed payment w/ numerous amounts of calls, and emails being ignored. I have not received any type of help to resolve this matter. When I call, I am giving excuse after excuse. Promise of the payment being processed and never able to talk w/ anyone in the processing department. Just no justice so unfair.

      Worst company ever. Pick Up and Shred fees continuously go up and then they tell you that you cannot cancel due to an automatically renewing 3 year contract which occurred 2 weeks ago which was never explained and no notification was given that it was about to renew, giving me no opportunity to cancel. This is going to be a battle unless they talk to me about this. No one wants to discuss this. They just want to keep billing me. They even said that if I do not continue my services or postpone my pick *** that they will bill me anyway for the remaining 3 years. Charges started around $80 range and are now over $102 for the smallest trash can size pick up they offered . There are fees for cancelling as well. I was told by the rep in the beginning that there would be no contract and then they send an acceptance email that sneaks in terms that differ from what their sales rep explained.
