      Do not do business with this fraudulent, misleading, and awful company! Me and my wife paid them $5000 upfront and then agreed to pay $100 per month for “state of the art” equipment.. this equipment has been faulty for 6 months straight with issues that can not be fixed. Our sales rep did NOT tell us that we entered into any form of contract with them either. This company is unwilling to resolve my issue in a fair way. Stay away!!!

      Good afternoon. 

      We do not agree with this complaint filled by Mr. *****. As seen in the attached documents, the equipment was not faulty and we made every effort to help resolve the problems. When the client unplugs the internet, the devices cannot work remotely. As for the fraudulent claims, you can see clearly by the executed agreement attached, Mr. ***** was fully aware of the terms and conditions of the sale. He initialed by the terms of the agreement and signed all paperwork. No refund is warranted; however, we did allow him to cancel the smart video analytic portion of this agreement leaving the security monitoring, which he initially wanted. We have attempted several ways and times to resolve this concern with Mr. *****, despite his disrespectful attitude towards our employees. Please reach out me with any questions or concerns. We would appreciate this review being removed from your website as well. Thank you.

      Dear Sirs. The purpose of this letter is to file a complaint against Owen Security Solutions of Calhoun, Georgia. The following information and facts are related to my complaint. In December 2022, I received correspondence from ***** ***** of Reswell, Georgia that they had sold its customer base to Owen Security Solutions located at *** **** ******* ******** ******* *************). I had been a customer of ***** ***** since 1985. I contacted Owen Security and an account was established and I paid the first 6 months of service on January 4th via check # ***** for $108.00. A copy of the invoice is attached (customer number *****). During January our system was NEVER switched over to Owen Security system and we experienced 2 alarms that were not answered by their service. During several telephone calls I learned we were not connected. I experienced no acceptable customer service and found their online reviews to be very poor. On January 31st, I sent a cancellation letter to Owen Security and requested a refund of $90. A copy of my cancellation letter is attached. I have not received a refund check after several telephone conversations with Owen Security. I NEVER signed any contract with Owen Security nor was my alarm system ever connected to their service. Resolution of this matter is for Owen Security to promptly send me a refund check of $90.00. I found this company to be what the very poor online reviews recorded. Thank you for your help in this matter.

      I am rejecting this response because: There respond is not accurate. I want my complaint to stand on their BBB record. It took this company 8 months to respond. Letting other consumers to beware is  more important to me than $ 109. Owen Security is poorly rated on the internet  and now with BBB.  Just consider my complaint settled. I appreciate your dedicated help.

      I opened an alarm account with ***** ******** in Roswell, GA in august 2022. Along with the $1150 system installation fee, I was told by ***** that since our business is on the same street as theirs, we would receive free service calls for the duration of our service with them. We had a couple of issues with the install, causing the alarm to immediately set off and dispatch police when we exited the building. ***** came out once to correct, but it wasn’t fully completed. A couple of months after the installation, I called for service again for the same issue and found out then that ***** had sold their business to Owen Security. Neither company made us aware of the change. I let them know that there was an issue with the install and also that I had an agreement with ***** for the free service calls and they sent someone out to correct it. I began receiving bills for a $250 service call earlier this year. I have contacted Owen Security 3 times regarding this bill and told them every time that I signed up for the service with the understanding that we would get free service calls, but even outside of that, the service was required because the installation was not done properly. It is the definition of a bait and switch business practice to change companies without notifying existing clients and change the agreement after someone has signed up for service. I would like the $250 service call charge cleared from my account so that I can cancel service with Owen Security.
