I was recently charged for phrasly, I consider this a fraudulent charge, I was on the phrasly website and went to try a one free day trial. They processed it and, but when I went back to the main menu, a screen popped up and said, "Wait, before you go, did you mean to do the monthly" which I preferred. So it processed that one. I tried it that night, was disappointed, I wrote feedback about it and cancelled my subscription. I have the email that shows this was canceled. There was no other subscription available plan to cancel except the monthly plan, then two days later I was charged for a year. I think when I signed up for the monthly trial, it stopped showing the year. I'm not sure why I would be allowed to sign up for both anyway, really poorly designed website. Currently, due to Phrasly’s website, I was charged 139.00 dollars and never used the product. This AI rewriting website offered a one-day free trial, but upon logging in, I found that only three trial uses were available, which wasn't enough to fully experience its performance. Seeking to access more services, I opted for a monthly subscription, expecting a charge of $10.99, but instead, I was charged $131.88. I promptly contacted the company, but they didn't respond until the next day. Their customer service was unsatisfactory; they made threats and displayed fraudulent behavior, even offering a 50% discount and a change in plan to six months to rectify the situation. However, I immediately canceled after being overcharged. Despite canceling the trial, I later discovered that no refund had been processed. When I reached out to customer service, I was informed that because I had previously used one email account, I had forfeited the free trial for my IP address. This policy was not clearly communicated on the website. It's evident that they're using the free trial as bait to lure customers into paying the annual fee, only to later scam them out of their money. Despite my attempts to resolve the issue, the company has refused to refund any money, displaying poor, aggressive and rude behavior. It's a clear case of fraud and scamming.
