- Advertising Review:In April 2025, BBB contacted Axe Elite regarding claims in its advertising.
Its website states the business is "The #1 telecommunications team in the nation" and offers the "Highest commissions in the industry." According to the BBB Code of Advertising, superlative statements in advertisements about the tangible qualities and performance values of a product or service are objective claims for which the advertiser must possess substantiation as they can be based upon accepted standards or tests. As statements of fact, such claims can be proved or disproved. Axe Elite did not respond to BBB's request that it provide substantiation for these claims.
The following claims appear on Axe Elite's website:
"Backed by industry leaders and a proven track record, we’re reshaping the future of sales and connectivity."
"$25,000,000 paid out in commissions to our agents & partners."
"Over 100,000 Businesses Connected Nationwide Through Our Program."
“We've Saved Our Clients Over $15m in Telecommunications Costs."
"Earn top-tier payouts on every sale, backed by direct partnerships with major carriers."
"Axe Elite has developed a unique sales business model that helps our partners strive for incomes that would not be possible working a regular 9-5 job."
The primary responsibility for truthful and non-deceptive advertising rests with the advertiser. Advertisers should be prepared to substantiate any objective claims or offers made before publication or broadcast. Claims relating to performance, energy savings, safety, efficacy or results for a product or service should be based on recent and competent testing or other objective data. BBB requested that the business provide substantiation for these claims and clearly and conspicuously disclose the typical earnings recruits achieve. Axe Elite did not respond.
Its website states "Read about us: Axe Elite has been recognized by names like Inc. 5000, Forbes, Verizon and more" and includes a layout of articles in Forbes, yahoo!, 39wsfl, and digital journal. It appears that some of these materials may be sponsored content or paid promotional pieces. According to the BBB Code of Advertising, advertisers must not mislead consumers as to the nature or source of ads that appear to be news or public interest stories but are actually materials promoting products or services. Clear and conspicuous disclosures should be added to such content, and to wherever they are republished, to avoid confusion or deception. Axe Elite did not respond or make any adjustments to its claims.
