      I love my Credit Union and they're coming to the Springs! They always reverse overdraft charges when I don't have money in the right account to pull from to avoid fees all together aka Overdraft Protection ??

      Canvas is THE WORST banking experience I've ever had! I wish I had looked at the reviews before I moved everything to Canvas, because all the bad reviews are totally accurate! I had opened a business checking and savings acct there months ago, but hadn't really used it for it for much since i'm still getting my business up and going. Decided to move my personal accts to Canvas in an effort to streamline eveything. OMFG you guys! They put holds on *********** even though I was an established customer. That was an easy fix. I opted to have my new acct docs emailed to me and never got them (yes, I checked my spam folder). I called and asked for them to be emailed again the next day, service rep said they were on it...Nothing came. Sent an email to request them. The response said they would email them. Still nothing. Seriously had to ask 5 different times just to get my docs. Then I tried to use my card at an ATM. declined my withdrawal twice, even though my funds were sufficient and the hold on my funds had been lifted. I was so frustrated, I drove to the bank to close all my accts down, and they informed me that there would be a $25 fee to close each acct. WTF. Of course there is. So I opted to leave the accts open and just take all my money out - I'd close them in 6 months when the fee was no longer applicable. Then I logged in the next day to see a $30 fee on my acct that I have no frigging clue what it was for. I drove to the bank again and asked for a manager. It took every ounce of gumption in my body to remain calm, knowing that it may be my only chance to get some help from the guy. I told him my nightmare experience, and he was actually super helpful, waived all fees and allowed me to close all my accts. CANVAS IS THE FRIGGING WORST!!!! PLEASE GO LITERALLY ANYWHERE ELSE!

      I had ***** I'm ******* thrmey held a 300$ check didn't tell me then made my account 275 negative with a 30$ safety net still missing 51$ they steal money do not trust this place. Make a **** through the account they will take more then the **** horrible place now I got to go back and have them refund my ***** . Been with this bank for 10+ I can't keep more then 50 cents in the bank or it will be gone really hate this bank didn't want to.give it 1 star my advice don't chase your money go somewhere else

      I don't even want to give 1 star. I am a senior citizen in Phoenix who got a car loan with Canvas Credit Union in 2018. I had zero issues making my payments until Covid. Even though I had to stop working for my safety in March, 2020, I continued making those high payments. Until December, 2020. Needed deferred payment as things finally caught up to me even though I returned to work in November, 2020. Person who was "helping" me dragged it out a couple days until I was finally denied a deferral and the payment went past 30 days due. Been trying to catch up since then, contacting Canvas several times for help since the initial problem. Each time Canvas, who says they are all about people vs profit, denied me. I finally asked them to stop harassing me with phone calls, texts and mail if they weren't going to help me. Nope. Won't even help that way.I absolutely do NOT recommend Canvas Credit Union to anyone needing a loan. Anyone. If you get in trouble they not only won't help but they'll compound the stress of trying to fix things.

      Tried several times for nearly 2 years. Each time I am told you will not help me. If someone is willing to help me as your website blurbs repeatedly say you do, please send me their name and phone number.

      I think these people are crooks!My 2019 Chevrolet got totaled and they said if I didn't make the payment they were going to slander me with the credit reporting, and ripped me off for $524 in interest for one month, and didn't adjust it when the insurance paid them $37306+ leaving a balance of $99.94, they say if the *** doesn't get there they will slander me with the credit reporting, and if I pay them they will rip me off for $205+ with no refund on their crooked interest

      I was surprised by the reviews, sorry to hear others are having bad experiences. I've been with Canvas FKA Public Service CU for over 30 years. I've had minor issues, but nothing compared to dealing with a Bank. Their fees are low, some of the lowest rates compared to banks w/ out all the junk fees. The people at the ****** Branch have always been very nice and helpful.

      Have had 2 vehicle loans through Canvas formerly Western Rockies. I recently received a letter in the mail stating that they did not have a current proof of insurance which they did. I submitted it to them 2 months ago I resubmitted required documentation to them as requested even got in touch with my insurance and they emailed and mailed documentation as requested. I was informed that my next payment which is coming due first of the month will have an additional $100 tacked on to it for them stating that I have no insurance and require liability until proof of insurance has been verified. This is beyond frustrating because I have had insurance on the vehicle the entire time I've had it.
