On 11/28/2024 I placed two online orders for sensors. The price was charged to my credit card and I was notified by ******* that the orders had been placed. I have a personal Notion account. Under their terms of service, I can get more than 1K items in the free account. However, when I shared an item with my wife, they mysteriously turned my account into a corporate account where I could not get more than 1K items anymore. I was forced to pay. What was worse, they did not notice that my payment would be for two users, me and my wife. When I contacted customer service, they said they could not convert my account to a personal one, and I had to pay for both my wife and myself. This is a complete scam and cheats the customer.Initial Complaint

I am a Senior Citizen with disabilities.I purchased home monitoring system to monitor any water leak and alert me about the entry to the house on JUNE 30, 2024. The order was confirmed.Till this day I have not received the product. I have made numerous phone calls, but no one would answer. I ordered a 5-sensor starter kit with a bridge from Notion on 4/12/24. I received a single confirmation email and the money was taken from my account. Since then, I have not received any updates on my order, and I have not received any packages. I have reached out to customer service twice by email and once by phone and have not gotten any replies. I also reached out to them via social media ********** and have not gotten a response there either. When on their social media page, I noticed that they have not posted anything since 2023, and when I was just looking for their website to link to this, it looks like their website has disappeared. I just want my money back! Or a working home monitoring system!I am not able to immediately upload the receipt since I am away from my home computer, but can do so shortly if that would be of any help.Initial Complaint

The business has not responded to technical support emails / tickets opened about the system over the past two months. I have been having significant technical problems with the sensors and the app, but no one has responded to the tickets. I also have been logged out of the app and the forgot password link is not working. I submit my email but a reset password link never arrives. Therefore, the system is completely ineffective and unusable at this time. I also learned they were acquired by ******** ******* only uses the data and as a part of home monitoring. So they are unable to help. I truly hate to open a complaint. Im mainly doing so because I am unable to get I. Tough with the company for assistance. Ive tried the phone number, email, chat, social media, but to no avail. Any assistance would be appreciated.Initial Complaint

Closed account as directed by email rep. Still receiving emails. Never recall any contact with company yet needed to download app to delete account. Did so but still receiving emails. Need account TOTALLY DELETED AND NO EMAILS OR OTHER CONTACT.Business Response

To whom it may concern,
The support team at Notion monitoring systems received a request from this customer to our support ticketing platform. The request came in via a live-chat, however it was initiated outside of our business hours at 5:30 AM Mountain time, so we were unable to respond to the customer directly. Our standard business hours are Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 6 PM Mountain Time.
When this occurs, we respond to the message as though it is an email. The customer received an email response from us the following day at 12:38 PM Mountain time.
The customer requested that we delete their account and respond to confirm that the account had been deleted. Our policy is that customers should complete actions like this via self-service. This protects the privacy and identity of the customer. We directed them to delete their account in our mobile app.
After deleting the account, the customer was still subscribed to email updates via our marketing platform. Subscription to our newsletter and other emails is separate from app account information, and we were unaware that the customer wanted to unsubscribe from email updates as well. Customers do have the option to unsubscribe from email communication from our team via an "unsubscribe" link included in any marketing emails.
As a result of this complaint, we have unsubscribed this customer from future email correspondence with our team.
