I brought this site up... entered my name and email to create an account, and was going to look for a phone number to search. I decide not to go further since intelius wanted my credit card information. I then exited the site. Unfortunately now they have my email and are constantly hassling me with emails daily. anywhere from 5 to 10 asking me to finishing registering my account. Think about how unscrupulous this site is. They do not leave a customer service phone number on their site to contact them. It is basically entrapping you to provide your credit card number.The only way to cancel your account is by supplying your credit card number and completing your account creation. Once your account is created, supposedly you would be able to unsubscribe. www.intelius.com messages. Do not, I repeat do not put your email on this ********* Advice: In the future...If you receive a phone call that is from an unknown number, Block it and delete it from your phone. If they do not leave a message when calling it is either a scam or phishing call to let them know it is an active phone number. Once you say Hello, the number calling you knows it is an active number and your number is sold to other scammers.Intelius.com

This is not a background check website. The subject in question shows no results from this service. They in fact have 2 federal hate crimes and a *** crime on a minor both in feeder and criminal records and various state records. This service confirms the correct person and locations but no results. No customer service, difficult to cancel services, and no options for refunds. This is only a gossip site.Intelius.com

I did all of this inputting information and going through all of this teasing for me to put my credit card information in and for there to be nothing! Absolutely nothing provided to me!! What a waste of my time. I'm sure they will continue charging my credit card and as you read the complaints below, they always have excuses for this foolishness. Like you have to do this and click on that in order to get this then that. Or even though it reads free, it's not really free because blah blah blah. It's not good. Our billing terms are conspicuously explained on our registration page and in our Terms of Use. Customers are sent a confirmation email for any orders placed on the site.The charges associated with the payment method in question have been disputed, resulting in a chargeback. When a chargeback occurs, it indicates that the account is in dispute with the financial institution, and the individual should contact the institution directly for any refund requests. The membership was promptly canceled and deactivated, with no additional charges to be incurred. Furthermore, due to the dispute, access to this account will no longer be attainable.
