    In June 2024, after discussions with their tech support, I purchased a new data logger for $75. Upon receipt of that logger, I then realized the issue was a cable. I contacted their support once again requesting permission to return the logger and obtain a $75 refund. I received that permission in an email on June 24, 2024 from ***** ******* of the tech support team. I shipped the logger and Davis received it according to **** on July 1st. On July 16th, Dr. ****** ****** emailed me saying "You're in the queue for support." On July 25th, ***** ******* emailed me that the *** department is being checked with. On August 2nd, ***** again emailed me stating he has reached out the the *** **** again. On Aug. 12th, Dr. ****** ****** emailed me saying he was trying to get an expedited answer. On Aug 16th ***** ******* sent an email requesting additional information from me that was already supplied. My last correspondence from Davis was on Aug. 19th from ***** stating he has to receive approval which he did not originally do. I have sent two emails since then requesting a resolution or even a communication from them and have received none.

    I purchased a "WeatherLink Console by Davis Instruments - The Smart Way to View and ***************** unit from davis instruments on amazon (order #:113-4195013-7939462) and paid $395 for it, upon trying to configure the unit, it was found the touch screen is non functional (the right side near the "I" key does not work at all).I contacted them on amazon, as well as amazon 2 times now, and still absolutely NO response from this company.They took $395+tax of my money, and sent me a defective unit, and now wont even have the decency to make this right. I just want a refund, and will buy from a more honest company.ALL COMMUNICATIONS WILL BE MADE THROUGH THE BBB ONLY. YOU WILL NOT CONTACT ME VIA PRIVATE EMAIL OR TELEPHONE.

    This order was made on Amazon as was the complaint was made on Amazon.
    Our email system responded to the Amazon complaint; however,it did take a couple of business days to research the complaint. During that time, we received 3 more automated complaints through Amazon for the same matter which took time to determine they were the same complaint.  The complaint took 5 business days to research and answer. There has been a full refund offer to the complainant upon return of the item. We recognize this complaint as complete and closed within a reasonable amount of time.

    that response is a absolute lie, they NEVER responded to the amazon return request, nor did they make a offer to me to return the defective item. in fact this is the first time I have heard from them at all

    stop lying, send me a return label on amazon, and refund my money!
