At Responsible Pest Control Ive requested to speak with a manager or someone in a higher position. The representative assured me they would escalate my concern and that I would receive a call back within 24 to 48 hours. However, it has now been nearly a week and a half without any follow-up. I have made several additional calls, only to receive the same responses from different representatives.I believe I have been patient and respectful throughout this process, and I feel entitled to speak with someone who can address my concerns.Respectfully **** ******Initial Complaint

Very unorganized company with bad communication to customer. Customer for years with them. Dont know what has been wrong with them lately, but I will not tolerate it. Attempted to schedule home inspection in 5/2024 for a 6/19 appointment for them to come out, but was told it was too far out (1 month). I was assured an appointment once I was told to contact them back end of May for a 6/19 appointment. I then contacted them for that appointment at the end of May as I was instructed to just to be told they are booked for the whole summer and that someone would call me if and when a time would be available. I explained the situation and the frustration. Was contacted by someone who assured me by email confirmation and text confirmation they would be coming out 6/19 between 9-11. Nobody showed up today and not even considerate enough to call to let me know if anything was wrong. I have been inconvenienced multiple times by them without any resolution.Initial Complaint

I scheduled an appointment to have someone come out concerning termities. Once he came out he told me I didn't have termities. But he would recommend for me to get a service that would have them put something in the ground and they would come out monthly to service them. He had me sign an invoice explaining what they were to do. He said within a few days I would be getting a copy to what I signed. One week passed & I hadn't reviewed anything. I began to call the company. Each time updating my contact information. I was told I would be receiving an copy of the invoice via email. The email never arrived. Then I get a charge on my credit card for $30. I called again I reqused for my total money be refunded I was told someone from management would be cantacting me. No one ever did. Meanwhile I get another charge for $30. On my credit card. I want my money refunded.Initial Complaint

Hi I live in ****, **. A year ago I signed up for a pest control service. A couple of months ago I sent this company a text message to end my services. They have not. I have since then connected with them on their own customer service message system. and repeatedly asked them to end the service. Yet each month they send a person to my house and perform a service that I have asked not to occur. I am not sure what to do next as I feel that they will still send someone again.Initial Complaint

I (and apparently many other people) have an ongoing billing issue with Responsible Pest & Scorpion Control whereby their system keeps erroneously (according to their own billing department people) sending out a notice that my account for residential pest service is past due. This is inaccurate. I have called now three times (12/13/2022, 12/20/2022 and 1/10/2023) and spoke to the billing department who each time assures me that the account is current with a zero balance. On 12/20 the lady I spoke to said that the billing department was "having issues getting the right information." On 1/10/2023 I received a letter from A.R.M. Solutions - a collections agency specializing in collecting debt for the pest control industry. The letter says that as of December 11, 2022 I owed $105. This is inaccurate, as verified on the calls I placed to Responsible Pest on 12/13 and 12/20. Today when I called and spoke with ******, I was provided a detailed history of all the dates I have received service and the payments made. They show - again - a $0 balance. ****** also mentioned that she had spoken to roughly 5 other customers today with the same bogus collections letter. I am not sure how (or why) I now am supposed to clean this up with the collections agency before they - using the bogus info apparently provided by Responsible Pest Control - report my erroneously late payment to the credit bureaus. I've been happy with the service received, and understand that occasional billing snafus happen, but it shouldn't require calling three times and still not having resolution.Business Response
