      The accounting department is the most incompetent group of people I have ever delt with. For nearly 5 months they had over 9k of my insurance money in another account. They continued to call me and send letters regarding a balance due which was their fault. I had to take off work to fix the problem that they and elite CC could not fix. ********

      I would like to make a complaint about deceptive business practices by Apex roofing. On 12/12/23, Apex representative came knocking at my door, saying that he just did inspection for my neighbor roof, and offer to inspect my roof for free to see if there is any hail damage. After inspection, said my roof was damage and I need a new roof. **** representative said what I need is a public adjuster who will file a claim against my ***************** so I can have a new roof. for me to do that I have to sign " A service authorization contract and letter of protection. The adjuster from Elite filed the claim for a new roof, but a new roof was denied by the *****************. The ***************** sent a check of $ ****** to be endorsed by my mortgage company, the adjuster and myself., the mortgage *** and I signed the check. I asked the *************** when I will receive my check to repair my home to which she answered, they will take their fees ($4400) And the rest will be sent to Apex, I was shocked, because no mention of fees was mentioned by Apex representative, or that my check will be sent to Apex. I then called Apex who said they will be receiving $ ******, from the adjuster, but they are charging me $74, 400, I then asked where am I going to get ***** to give you, when the insurance only gave 9000 to repair 8 tiles and the rest goes for my lanai, cracked in my walls back and front side etc. **** representative repeated *****, and I want it in cash. I have been back and forth with the adjuster office, because I have the check in my possession. I have not called Apex since then, because I don't want to do business with such a company, but I need to prepare my house for the new hurricane season, there are several damages to the front, back side of my house also the lanai. Please help!

      I have been indated with an on slot of this companys employees brothering me with thier onslaught. I have had at least five different of their employees, knocking on my door about repairing our roof. Please let the company know that I have it done , not by them.

      On July 19, 2024 I hired Apex Roofing to tear off and replace my roof. After supplies and permits where received, I was given a start date of August 19, 2024. Workers arrived at 7:00 am and the job was finished at roughly 9:15 pm. I was told the job would take two days. The next morning I inspected the job. I noticed there was damage to my plants that were covered with a blue tarp. They where brown due to the excessive heat and being covered all day. Unfortunately most of the plants died. On my gazebo the wood replacement was put in backwards. Some of the leaf guards where not placed back properly. My biggest complaint was the vent pipes where not replaced but spray painted instead. I was told an inspector would come out the following day to inspect the job that never happened. I was finding nails weeks later. One of my vehicles had a nail in the sidewall of the tire and had to be replaced. An inspector came on August 27, 2024 to inspect my complaint. He took pictures and said I would hear from **** within 7 to 10 business days, that never happened. I didn't hear from **** until I received a letter in the mail, stating a lien was placed on the property and demanding final payment. After speaking with ****** *** we agreed on a date of 12-30-24 for repairs to be made. And for me to email my receipts for a replaced tire and cost of replacing plants, I also informed Ms *** that I leave for work at 2 p.m. On December 30 the repair *** said he would be at my property by 3:30. But I was told he would be there by 10 a.m. A new date was set for January 16, 2025 No one showed up. I called to find out why. I was told that the person that was supposed to come had to have surgery. I will pay the balance once the work is completed minus my cost for damages. Apex doesn't communicate with me on trying to resolve my issues and receive there final payment. Please help!!

      Continues to come in the neighborhood and go door to door even though all entrances have no solicitation signs. I have called and asked them to stop and they continue to do it.

      One employee of Apex roofing nocked at my door 2 years ago, they offered a roof inspection and if they found any problems they will connect us with a lawyer to do an insurance claim. At that time they told me that there was no obligation to repair my roof through them. They did not provided me with a work estimate. We have a settlement with citizen for 80 K for 2 claims. The lawyer took 40 K. The lawyer also told me that the rest of money (40K) will be paid directly to Apex Roofing and Restoration company. We had 2 estimates for 20 K and 25 K to repair the roof. We have a single family house with shingles roof. Apex Roofing estimate is for ***** K. They said we have a 10 K deductible. Their employee told us that we did not have to worry about the deductible, that they will take care of it. Recently, they put a lien on my house for $ ***** after they got 40 K from the insurance. They claimed they use extra materials, removed the solar panel.... I think these people needed to be investigated. They uses deceiving techniques to get your business. I request that they remove the lien on my house and clear that $ 4900 bill.

      We are writing in response to the complaint regarding the homeowners roofing project with Apex Roofing and Restoration. Additionally, we want to extend our sincere apologies for any misunderstandings or frustrations this matter may have caused.

      The homeowner received funds from their insurance company and signed a legal release specifying the funds allocated to Apex Roofing. Apex completed the work agreed upon in accordance with the scope of the settlement. However, the $10,000 deductible remains the homeowners responsibility, as is standard practice in insurance claims. Florida law explicitly prohibits roofing contractors from waiving insurance deductibles.

      The homeowner expressed concerns about additional charges and the allocation of funds for the solar panels. It was explained to the homeowner that their deductible and out-of-pocket costs were not waived and would still be due. Our team also emphasized that without payment of the deductible, **** cannot issue the roof warranty. We made several attempts to address the homeowners concerns and explained the situation thoroughly.

      The lien placed on the homeowner's property was filed to preserve Apex Roofing's legal rights, as the deadline for filing was approaching. This action was taken as a standard legal precaution, not as a punitive measure. We can confirm that a request to release the lien has been submitted and will be recorded with the county.

      We take all complaints seriously and strive to ensure transparency and professionalism in all our dealings. We believe our actions were consistent with industry standards and Florida law. However, we regret any inconvenience this process may have caused and remain committed to resolving any further concerns amicably.

      This company is a scam and they are vultures. They attempt to coerce you to sign over your insurance claim to them and **** their noses into your affairs with your attorney. I decided not to do business with them yet after 2 years they continue to call me, leave text messages, leave voicemails, and they incessantly email me. I have asked them to stop 12 times yet they continue to harass me. Please stop or this is going to get ugly I promise you. What is it that you don't understand about the fact that I don't want to do business with you nor do I wish to be contacted by you for any reason?

      I had my roof restored by Apex in July. Apex punctured my ** lines with their roofing nails. The project manager came out and assured me they would cover the cost. I provided video and photo evidence of the punctures from the nails, leading to my ** breaking. I was out of ** for over three days. Apex stated they would not cover the damage due to "code violations" from the ** lines. I contacted the ** company who explained that there are no code violations. **** then offered $300 as a resolution. The total cost for the ** repair was over $1500.

Our records indicate that you were reached out to regarding the issue with the nail in a line set due to the lines being too close to the decking. While we are not privy to the structure of your home and would be unaware of the hazards below the decking, as a good faith gesture, we offered compensation toward the repair.       I am rejecting this response because: The response provided by **** is false. I never accepted their offer. I did provide a video and multiple pictures to phone number ************ who contact me via text asking for them. I can show evidence to this. I was told by the project manager when he came for the final inspection and took the video as the ********** was there repairing the damaged lines that I would be reimbursed. He in fact stated that **** routinely reimburses for these types of damages and it was not going to be a problem. I have a witness to coabertate this event. Im
