I met with Acadium to learn about their services in October of this year. I sat through multiple sales calls to learn about their service as did my partner. Acadium claims that they will match you with digital marketers with basic level of understanding and experience in what we are looking for. Throughout the sales process we continued to ask detailed questions about the candidates and their experience. Both sales people we talked to assured us that the candidates would have a baseline understanding of digital marketing and we would only be matched with people that have experience in what we were specifically looking for. After signing on for the apprenticeship program, we had initial conversations with 3 candidates. It was clear immediately that not only did the candidates not have a basic level of marketing experience but they also had NO experience in what we were looking for. We declined each apprentice and decided to request a refund. During our sales calls, the sales rep ASSURED us that we would be able to get a refund if we did not decide to move forward with a candidate. After requesting a refund, we were first denied and told we had a site credit. We then contacted the CEO and had a google meets call, he refused again to grant us a refund. We've now taken this issue to our bank and are reporting Acadium for fraud as well as false advertising. The sales team was 100% dishonest during the sales process and misrepresented Acadium's ability to provide the service they said they could. The CEO is now referencing a refund policy that was not shared with us until after we signed the contract, not to mention that the sales team directly told us the opposite of the policy. We are requesting a refund for the program for false advertising, dishonest sales tactics and services not being provided.
