1 starI purchased Wondershare Filmora for my business specifically for the ** voice-to-dynamic text feature. It failed repeatedly 10+ times within 24 hours of installing. I contacted support immediately and followed every request they made: uninstalling, reinstalling, running diagnostics, checking network settings, submitting logs, and more.After all that, it still didnt work. Worse, the exported video had major audio issues, and the software kept reporting network errors despite a strong, stable connection.Their live chat agent told me: If there's atechnical issue that cannot be resolved even by our programmers, we are very willing to help refund. Well, their programmers couldnt resolve it and instead of processing the refund, they escalated it again... and again even offering a remote session with developers (which I declined after already losing hours on this).Ive documented everything screenshots, logs, chat transcripts, and over a week of emails. Ive held up my end. Wondershare has not.This isnt about a change of mind its about a product that doesnt work as advertised, and a company that refuses to honor its own refund policy.If you value your time or your business, avoid Wondershare. Their support is slow, dismissive, and scripted. Their software is unreliable. And their refund process is a maze of delays.This review is only the beginning. 1 starI was going through a bunch of old papers and found a note I scribbled with my login to *********************************. I also wrote down, "Close it. Not free." Being a really old scrap of paper, I was really concerned because it's hard to keep up with all my credit cards and charges. I logged in and it appears as though I haven't been paying for anything as far as I can tell. But for total peace of mind, I wanted to close my account completely. After clicking around and failing, I tried the ** chatbot and it said I would have to contact them directly to close an account. I tried calling a number which said my approximate wait time was four minutes (and charges may apply). I waited much longer than four minutes, and nothing. So I gave up. It's TOO typical today that businesses like this make it impossible to close an account without having to jump through hoops and it's entirely unethical. On top of that, to attract people to create a log in, this is another example of how typical it is that they aren't clear that the service is not free and then make it impossible to close the account when I realize it's no use to me unless I subscribe to a service.Review fromJustin B

1 starTerrible experience I was looking for a tool that would help me unlock a PDF I have so I could make the file smaller and I came Across wonder shares website where they were offering a free tool that seem to do exactly what I wanted. I downloaded the tool nothing worked, except for the buy Full version button. They had a moneyback guarantee image on the landing page so I figured Id see if I can get the full version to do what I want. I got the full version for $138.11. The full version didnt work either. The next day I requested a refund, they said they couldnt give a refund unless the software wasnt working. I said the software wasnt working. They asked me to take screenshots of the error messages (Suggesting that the only way to approve the software is not working is by way of screenshots of error messages?). Very sneaky. Biggest group of thieves I have ever encountered. They off a 30 day money back guarantee but they DO NOT OFFER IT!! I have been fighting with them since 2.23.2024 same day as I purchased this garbage that I did not want it. I'm sure like everyone else who are working in a position and looking for a certain software to do a particular process. I thought I found it and that with a money back guarantee I was cool but then the website defaulted to their most expensive option (******) then I immediately told them that was a mistake and move me to the lower tier. That never happened and then they say I didn't meet the 7 day notice time to get my money back so I was charged an additional *****, I guess 45 mins post purchase is too soon. Now they say I don't qualify for a refund at all. Along with that since i used my paypal account they used the email associated with that rather than the email I actually entered initially. Thus preventing me from logging in because I wasn't aware that was the case until I started looking for the receipt. The address says **************** but the Paypal dispute goes to a company with Chinese characters. These people are the lowest of life and should not be allowed to operate on the open market!Wondershare Technology Inc.

Sewer scum of a company. They'll charge you even after you cancel your "free trial" and make customer service nearly impossible to deal with. 5 weeks later I'm still trying to reverse over $100 in charges. Complete fraud of a company.Wondershare Technology Inc.

definitely a fraud, it says money back guarantee but they won't refund you no matter what.I downloaded the recovery app and it didn't recover the files that was on the hard drive and I couldn't open it because it said it is not accessible. after I reached out they refuse as to refund because "I can't refund for not liking the software" I showed the proof of the app issue but still they refused. then they asked me to send them some f my files !!!!Wondershare Technology Inc.

The refund policy ***** as people say it is. They have confusing UI that doesn't align well with their site, misleading you with products, thus you make a mistake purchasing them. Then their policy doesn't allow you to refund except in technical cases. Perhaps we should all gather and look for any technical issues so we can do a mass refund?The support site is slow and when you are in a queue, it doesn't ring telling you when they are ready, meaning you may miss it and have to wait for it for however long until they are ready. I missed few support chats already because of this.The support chat said I should buy the one I want then they can issue a refund on the wrong one?!? How does that even make sense? I can't trust you already, why would I spend hoping to get my money back on something where you just admitted can't be refunded?And if you have humans for customer service but are inflexible as robots are, why aren't they replaced by AI?I live in ** just like the headquarters of this company and it's a **** SHAME.Wondershare Technology Inc.

I recently purchased Wondershare because I wanted to write over a gif. When I attempted this step another window popped up asking me to pay an additional fee for the Filmore software to complete the project. I had already paid $49 for the annual membership. This platform is nothing more than a money pit. BUYER BEWARE!! You'll spend more and more money to complete your project. If you ask for a refund, Wondershare points to their refund policy, which basically says they will not give refunds once you purchase.Wondershare Technology Inc.

READ THE REFUND POLICY!!!!!I believed the ******* would transcribe audio and video into notes. The website led me to believe that I would be able to use the audio/video to text feature to transcribe audio and video to text. However after signing up I was surprised to find this was actually part of the *********** ******* which requires extensive further payment and was now no longer an affordable option for me. Despite the website guaranteeing 100% satisfaction - I was quickly deterred by customer ******* and told that the satisfaction was only a "100% technical satisfaction" guarantee and that I should see the "refund policy". I believe that the website is purposely misleading but again there is that "refund policy" that I didn't not search out and did not review prior to purchasing a subscription.
