      Emails (abridged) to ************************* and *************************, September 21 and 22, 2022 Hopefully, staff has informed you about your active ******* video: additionally, Tripadvisors website states The Granary is Open now, 7AM" and provides a link to the Ranchs website. The Ranchs website only mentions breakfast is limited; there is no statement regarding the Granary being closed for renovation; accordingly, a prospective guest is unaware that the only Ranch restaurant is closed; hence, no on-property dining. The Ranch is a destination resort/ retreat (four miles out of *******, up a winding road, atop a mountain); hence, on-property breakfast, lunch and dinner are basic amenities. The lack thereof defeats the purpose of a destination vacation. Please reverse (credit-back) the associated **** charge. Last Wednesday/ September 14, 2022, when attempting to check-in at the Ranch, *****, the front desk person, informed me that my reservation had been canceled. Unequivocally, I assure you, I did not previously cancel my reservation. ***** informed me that someone' called and reported that they had a sick family member and, therefore, could not make it. He did not reveal when the call came in or from which telephone number the call originated. (I suggest you review your telephone/ caller ID records and resolve same,) After some discussion, ***** offered me a room. Upon inspection (beautiful LR and views), noticeably the unit did not have a refrigerator, microwave or coffee maker, further complicating the lack of onsite food services. Accordingly, and all things considered, the Ranch was not a candidate for a destination vacation.
