    In November, I submitted an inquiry for tree trimming services via ******* list online. I was contacted by Better View Trees (Better View LLC) in November and they came to my property to provide a quote for the service. I agreed to hire them, and they arrived a few days later on 11/19/2024 and completed about 80% of the work - they stopped because they said they needed a pole saw to trim the remaining branches that I had previously pointed out to them during the quote meeting. He told me that he would have someone back at my property the next day and gave me $50 to hold until the remaining work was completed - but that work was never finished. I texted him the next day on 11/20/2024 to let him know that no one arrived to finish the work, and he did not confirm when someone else would be there. On 11/21/2024 I asked via text if someone could come before Thanksgiving to complete the work, to which he replied, "For sure." After not hearing any updates, I texted him again on 11/25/2024 asking when the work would be completed and he said "Between today and Wednesday" - but that still did not happen. I texted him again on 11/26/2024 asking for a date in which the work would be completed, and he replied "We are talking about you now...I'll update you" - I have received no texts or phone calls since then, and I have reached out via text and phone call several times. I paid for work to be completed, and although I have $50 from him, the work that I paid for is still not complete and now he is refusing to answer my texts or phone calls. I want this work completed and monetary compensation for the lack of communication and inability to complete the work when he said it would be completed.
