    Monday I'm contacting the Better Business bureau through my lawyer and my sister's social worker. They sold my sister a defective thermostat their technicians didn't properly check the situation and left cold air blowing leaving a an extremely ill person to freeze during one of the coldest months of the year. I called about the situation and they became belligerent. I've never come across such a heartless company in my life and now it's a matter of principle more than anything how could they do this?

    The facts are that his sister did call for service for a faulty thermostat on 12/12/23, we sent a technician to the home per her request with the understanding of the diagnostic and the repair to be in addition to that.  The home had heat the entire time of the call, the furnace was working, it was the Nest thermostat that was not working.  We replaced said thermostat with a comparable thermostat since ************** wanted a WIFI enabled control. When we left, everything was working and until Friday the 26th we had not any correspondence with her.  We were unaware of a brother until Friday as ************* was the one who made the initial call, who signed the paperwork and who we sent a focus on energy rebate form to her for the thermostat. 

    The other fact is after 1 unsuccessful phone call made by *************, because he was told to stop yelling or the office would hang up, he called back again to continue to berate and scream at the other office assistant.  The entire office was aware of this as she asked him 3 times to stop yelling at her. She put him on hold and the original office assistant took the remainder of the call whilst recording the conversation. As in the recording, you can hear her ask him to let her speak as he continued to speak over her, resulting in nothing.  As he continued, he got more irrational and started to make threats. She continued to warn him to stop yelling or she would hang up.  He did not stop, and she warned him again, as is the offices right to do so and she hung up. 

    Unfortunately, there was no resolve on Friday as the conversations had gotten nowhere with him.

    Saturday, our office received 2 threatening messages left on our emergency on call line, same in nature as above.  

    When speaking with him Saturday, ************** was in fact able to admit that they did have heat throughout the time from 12/12/23 to yesterday and that in fact the thermostat did work, however it blew cold air-which could have an easy solution of perhaps a fan setting or something else with the furnace itself. In the conversation I had with him he also admitted that his sister did not want him to reach out to us to remedy the situation.  

    We have come to an agreement, that D&M will go out Monday to take back the thermostat which was taken off by Capital Heating on Friday(as we are  now not able to test if it was working or not) refund the whole amount of the service call plus the thermostat and he would remove all reviews that he posted: here and on Yelp and ****** and he would not seek any legal action. 

    I would appreciate him doing so and following through as we are following through on our obligation on the part and labor warranty.  He will have no course for legal action other than to slander our company's name.

    Great staff and very professional, got in my office building to fix my air-conditioning unit and had it done in a day. Amazing work with there installation that there guys performed at my location.
