    I visited Ace Hardware in ********************* Sat 7/6 looking for some dishwasher discharge tubing. The two individuals who helped me with this purchase invited me behind the counter of the key area. I showed them what kind of tube I was looking for and asked for 3 feet of 7/8 inch interior diameter tubing. A quick ****** search prior to entering the store showed that most places were selling this item for $1.00-1.60 a foot. I had trusted that *** would be at least comparable. The tag that was provided to me to bring to the register showed what I believed to be a total price between $4 and $5. Only after that item was rung up did I discover that the price was $4-5 per foot. I went back in and spoke to the store manager at the time, ****, she informed me that because it was already cut she couldnt return the item. I took that for what it was and decided to eat that cost as a ****** learned. After returning home, I discovered that the item was the wrong size. I thought surely now they would return the item for me. Nope! **** after examining the product herself admitted to me the item was the wrong size and mislabeled, an error that was not the fault of myself or anyone else working that day, she still said despite that fact she could still not return the item. Two other individuals including a Fort ******** police officer advocated for an amicable resolution to this issue but according to **** none was to be had because she was not willing to get in trouble for bending the rules (something I can understand but not respect).

    I had submitted an email last week and thought we we done with this, my apology

    **************** had visited the store a few days ago to purchase so tubing to fix a problem he had at home. The tubing he purchased was the wrong size. The manager on duty was only following policies posted, by not allowing a refund on cut to foot items. Mr. ****** is welcome to come back at his convenience and get a full refund.
