    I signed up for a 2 year subscription, and when my term expired, I received no notice that my subscription would be renewed or any receipt of the transaction. I cancelled the renewal the morning after they charged me and contacted them to see if they would issue a refund. I did not hear back from them. I was not told up front that the subscription would be auto-renewed. Very distrustful (i.e. shady) business practices in my opinion. Now, I'm out $333. Beware at all costs. It's also worth noting that I hadn't logged onto the platform in over a year. I used it for a couple weeks, but the content was not worth it... so I'm technically out $666 since I didn't get any value from the platform. Looks like a scam, sounds like a scam, feels like... a scam!

    The user reached out to our customer support on 2 December 2023, and the team refunded their subscription renewal upon the user's request on the same day. The user must wait 3-5 business days for the refund to appear in the account.

    Furthermore, we confirm the subscription has been refunded and canceled. The user will only be charged again if they purchase a new subscription plan.

    Educative uses a lengthy terms of service agreement to hide a deceptive auto renew policy. Unlike most businesses, they do not contact users if their auto renewal is upcoming, or offer a receipt of new transactions. They **** regardless of whether a user hasn't logged in for months. The only receipt offered is upon purchase, and any language about an auto renewal is omitted here like it is everywhere else. Here is what you're told you bought: Package: 12 months Amount paid: $199 Order ID: **************************************** Date: Apr 27, 2021 Lacking is any clear language. Companies that hide behind lengthy terms of service are simply deceptive. Ripe for class action lawsuit.
