so far the support team has been very helpful in restoring my account. this is a great game with great community people, toxic and non toxic. its a fun mix of bad and good which is what an enduring adventurist like me loves to experience.

ArenaNet claims to ****** an air of tolerance and diversity, however their signature game, Guild Wars 2, is filled with toxic hate speech, anti-LGBTQ+ sentiment, and I even had to pressure them to remove someone advertising their membership in the KKK.ArenaNet claims to not allow bots in Guild Wars 2, but botting is so prevalent one of their top partners staged a questionable stunt to get staff to pay attention.Reports of hate speech are ignored. Bugs persist in their games (Detonator **** being the most famous) for years without any fixes. Player disconnects are blamed on player systems, despite being pervasive. In all cases, customers are treated with disdain.Personally, I feel this company should be investigated for criminal fraud. They go beyond just lying to the public; they contribute to the air of hatred that has seen a spike in violence on America's streets. After trying to recoup any monies spent with ArenaNet, I finally just deleted my Guild Wars 2 account and walked away from over $1,200 in investment just to get away from this horrid company. They have a bad reputation locally and in the gaming community. Sadly, gamers don't seem to care who they throw their money at, so ArenaNet continues to be in business.I wouldn't do business with ArenaNet if my life depended on it.

Very poor customer service. I played their game Guild Wars 2 for years and spent real money for items in the game. I moved and no longer had access to my old phone number and email. I provided all the information the company requested in order to get the account reactivated including serial numbers, in game character info, pay pal purchase order numbers and credit card info and the company refuses to help me get access back to my account. They state that unless i can email them from the account that I no longer have access to they wont help me. I even offered to provide my drivers license. They only provide online tech support so you can never discuss with a real person. Hands down worst customer service experience I have ever had. Buyer beware.
