At my previous address, CVA properties was the property management company. The address was ***********************************************************************. My lease ended on 11/18/22. Since then, **** (the property manager) has become almost entirely unresponsive about the security deposit checks. I emailed multiple times, and texted. I only was able to get up with him by calling from a ****** voice number so he would not know who was calling. I spoke with him on March 2nd and he said they had been mailed. Frankly, I dont believe him. It has been well over the period in which this deposit was required by ** law to be returned. All in all, at this point, it seems a pretty obvious attempt to avoid returning these checks. I have tried to resolve this issue myself, with tact and patience for the other party. I would really appreciate any help or advice you can provide. My next step is to send a letter of non-payment via certified mail to have a receipt ready for when I file in small claims court. I am including a screenshot of the agreed-upon, itemized deductions I received from him after my moving out in November.Hoping to hear back from you soon.*********,***********************

[A default letter is provided here which indicates that the business has not responded to you directly.  If you wish, you may update it before sending it.]

    Hi,

I have not heard from CVA Properties, nor have they returned my calls, as I have tried again to reach out directly. I am proceeding to file in small claims court this week. Thank you for trying to facilitate this matter.

    Sincerely,
