Signed up with InstafixUS LLC on March 20 to provide me with computer security. And paid $700 at this time.Friday, May 20, I received a call from them stating that my computer was sending them error messages. They then remoted in to take care of the issue. They kept calling and giving me updates and saying they would be finished soon.As of Monday morning they still were not done.Monday, May 23, I received a phone call telling me that they would refund my $700.They put a form on the screen, and asked me to fill in my bank name so that they could refund my money. They asked me to put in the information; which included the amount of $100 to see if the transfer would work. When I typed in $100.00, the period did not appear, so it looks like $10000.He told me that my keyboard didn't work, and that I had just typed in $10000. He then stated that the transaction started processing immediately before I had a chance to change it.So I couldn't change it to $100. They took $9200 out of my savings account. Then they said, they had a $5000 gift card that they would deposit into my account, and that I should send back $3,000 of that money to them. I told them I did not want it, and that is the last I heard from them. When I try calling them, the recording says the person is not available.I also filed a police report regarding this incident.

I was contacted by InstafixUS LLC on May 21, 2022 in connection with a problem I was having with my email account, specifically, I could not access my account. I was told the problem was with the number of errors to my software -- 538 to be exact -- and that the only way to resolve this problem was to "clean up" the errors with a 60-90 minute cleansing of my software in order that I could access my email directly without further problems. A technician proceeded to work on my computer for approximately 10 minutes while I was waiting and I was not supposed to touch my computer. No one told me that the problem was fixed. When I subsequently tried to access my email account a few days later, I found I could not use my printer. It did not work. In addition, ******* kept referring to my ***** account and asked for my password. I do not have a ***** account. I was charged $299.99 to my **************** account for services rendered, but my problem was not fixed without other problems being created. In consideration of all of the above, I am asking for a credit to my **************** account for the amount billed. This has been a nightmare.

On Friday May 6 2022 I was told by this company that a Trojan virus was on my computer. They said they required remote access to my computer to fix the problem caused by this virus. They also said they needed my password to turn on the computer. I have since been told by several reputable sources that this was likely a scam and possibly fraud. They have inserted the *** logo on my computer. They have charged me $599.99 using my bank debit card.
