On 02/14/24 I hired Viewpoint Tree Service to cut and haul away a large Oak tree from my front yard. The backed into two sections of my fence and didn't repair them. It is a family business. They cussed and carried on for 30 min. Straight. I had to go out an tell them to be quiet. They ran into the electric wire causing me to loose power. They dug up my cable line destroyed the line. I didn't have **** TV for a week. They left huge logs that should have been taken away. They didn't wear any protective gear.

    Business Response

This is Randy Brooks, owner of Viewpoint tree service. We were hired by Mrs. ***** ***** to take down a large red oak tree in her front yard that was ruing the foundation of her home. I am very disappointed that she is unhappy with the work involved. I am also confused to hear the complaints that were given as I thought we were at a complete understanding as we went according to contract and talked everything over from start to finish. As for her complaint with the cursing she had come outside to tell us to stop yelling. But, with lots of loud heavy machinery and my employee climbing the tree in order for us to hear each other you have to speak in a very strong tone so the "yelling" is necessary for safety precautions. We do not use inappropriate language on the job as it is unprofessional and disrespectful. When we had spoken about the cable line Mrs. ***** and I had come to the understanding that it was in the way and would not be able  to be reconnected until the job was finished as the was lots of heavy machinery moving in and out of her yard as well as approximately fifty-two-thousand pounds of waste material from the large 115 feet tall red oak. For  the fact the her power line was disconnected from, her house was due to the fact that a dead limb had fallen out of the tree when we had started the job and taken out the connection in response to this we had called *********** ***** to come reconnect it within the hour which they had done at no cost. Now for the wood that she is upset with i have an explanation as a company we strive to make sure that at the end of every job that these waste materials can be used in an efficient way to help people in any way possible as for the trees not to be wasted this includes giving wood chips away as fertilizer and ground cover as well as giving away excess wood for people who use it to heat their home. So when the contract is signed all materials of the job become property of viewpoint tree service as Mrs. ***** knows. So with this being said Mrs. *****'s next door neighbor had asked her if he could have the wood from the job to use as firewood. In turn she had asked my employee if that was fine in which I was informed and compiled. Days After giving her neighbor the material he requested, I believe she began to see the wood on the property next to her as an eye sore and has tried to get us to remove it from the property without consent of the homeowner. Viewpoint tree service is a company that makes safety, completion, and customer satisfaction our main priority and I'm very displeased to see that has failed with Mrs. ***** but i do not tolerate the false accusation and statements especially after we had spoken and agreed not to carry out any legal actions wither extremely aggressive dog that had attacked me and two of my employees my injury has kept me from being able to run the saw and has been in pain since the day of attack all pictures of start to finish of job and dog bites will be uploaded.
